I'm sorry about that Tom, I did my best to make the committee see what Lee Dent was doing, however when I was forced to leave my house, I had nothing but my car and my phone. I couldn't get on here as I had no internet access at the time, and it was a good few months before I got to replace everything and move into a bungalow. I have had to furnish my new house with everything I literally had nothing buddy. I must say I am surprised that Keith didn't say anything, he knew what was going on. Is Keith KJZ32 still about?

And why would I need parts when I have thousands of pounds worth of parts hidden from my ex wife at home? Interesting thought.

Thank you Mondo, common sense. I have never stolen anything in my life, I'm an ex paramedic, the Ambulance Service have this rule, it says they don't employ thieves. As you quite rightly state, how the hell would a guy in a wheelchair root through that bomb site, and take parts from cars without being seen? These are the lies that I have had to deal with and that lost me 3 of my cars, my wife and my family and my sanity for a little while too. I don't think anyone from L.A, Autos is capable of telling the truth. But I have now put it down to experience, I do not want another breakdown like I had, it was soul destroying. I never touched any cars belonging to anyone else whenever I was there, and I was only ever there because Lee Dent invited me down there, it was far from every day, as the fuel bill to travel that distance over 5/6 days a week would not have been affordable to me, it was more like a couple of times a month, and we used to use it as like a mini meet so other Zeds would turn up, all drumming up business for Lee Dent, he however ends up talking about all of his customers, whether friends or not pulling them to pieces, it was quite shocking and unbelievable unless you actually heard it for yourself, no doubt he has spoken about me in this way. At the end of the day, I will stand behind everything I have said, I will state here and now that what I have explained is the honest truth, if only it were possible to take a lie detector test on occasions such as these, I would take one willingly, I wonder if Lee Dent would?

I don't know yet whether I will be sticking around or not, but I had to come on and put the record straight with the nasty things that were being written about me. Another little story I can tell in my defence. I spotted a Impul body kit on a Zed that was being broken by Banzai Breakers, I wrote and asked for a price on the whole kit. I was given a price, which for this body kit was a low price, so I accepted the deal. Banzai Breakers then realised they had made a mistake in the price quoted, but the deal had been done. Upon explaining this to me, and the fact that his wife/partner would be mad at him for quoting the wrong price, and asking if I would be prepared to pay a little bit more for the kit. I could have said no, but I felt bad for the guy, so I paid an extra £50 - £100 more than the price that was agreed, can't remember exactly how much more, does this sound like someone who refuses to pay for services or parts?

I take it this is Calum? I totally agree with your first statement, there was no car agreement made for settlement of Lees' invoice, because I paid him cash, which Lee insisted on, I now know why. What did or didn't happen in my private family life is of no concern or business of yours or anyone elses, and whist I wouldn't usually reply to things of this nature, I would love for my name to be cleared of the foul things people have got into their head about me. It cost me my marriage because Lee Dent told my wife I owed him over £2000.00, Lee made up the figures because I threatened him with police action because I could not get in touch with him to collect my cars. Unfortunately I was side tracked and had to put all my money into the divorce and could not afford solicitors for both. Now, we lived in a semi detached house, there were 3 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, a living room, dining room, kitchen, conservatory, bedroom and bathroom downstairs. There was also a garage built onto the side of the house. The bathroom and bedroom that were downstairs were built for me because I am disabled and use a wheelchair, would you agree with the fact that I have a disability and use a wheelchair Calum? So, this being the case, I had a bedroom, a bathroom, a conservatory, and a garage that was converted into a kids study room and a utility room to hide all these thousands of pounds worth of parts where my ex wife wouldn't see them. Where do you suggest I hid them Calum, behind the couch? And how the hell do you suppose I sneaked all these thousands of pound worth of parts into the house from the confines of my wheelchair without my ex seeing? Yes I had a few Zed parts that I had collected, I think most Zed owners will have, they were stored in the very front of my garage in a space of approximately 6ft x 2ft, and is where Keith picked them up from. But to claim it was thousands of pounds worth of parts is just way over the top. Saying this, my ex wife is very good at claiming these things, she even told her solicitor that I paid thousands of pounds for disability equipment I purchased, two electric wheelchairs, and a roof top box that stores my wheelchair on the roof of my car, you have seen me use one very much like it, the sad fact is that the thousands of pounds that I am supposed to have paid for these items actually turned out to be £400, all verifiable through eBay, however with the type of person she is, she will not allow me to have these essential pieces of disability equipment. So you see my ex wife is prone to exaggeration from time to time. I take it that I never had money of my own? I was spending my ex wife's money? My ex wife was on slightly more money than I was on when I started work in the Ambulance Service, but this was only for a matter of a few months, and was back in 1983, after that I have always been on more money than my ex wife. My ex wife is moaning because I took control over my own money to stop it being spent on alcohol and cigarettes. I am surprised she hasn't mentioned to people that I had to equip my bedroom as a kitchen too, because she had stopped buying me food, I was never made a meal, I therefore had to purchase kitchen equipment in order for me to feed myself and purchase my own food, the reason why I had to take control of my own money, she neglected to tell people any of this, but my solicitor has her summed up. Any parts that I dropped off at Lee Dents garage were told to and quoted for a price for fitment usually via PM's on here or text between my mobile phone and his, as Lee was never contactable by telephone. I thought that people were in business to carry out work for others who are paying to have said work carried out, if Lee really wasn't getting paid to do the work I asked him to do, why did he not stop doing it? Can you tell everyone who exactly I told to f**k off and to take me to court and I will pay you £5 per week, I take it that this statement like most of my statements is provable Calum, it is extremely libelous this statement that you have made. Can you please forward me a list of customers cars that I routed through and stole car part from please Calum? I would like to contact these owners to see if indeed they were missing the items you will send me in your list of the customers cars I stole from. I think judging by this case that if anyone was stealing parts off customers cars it was far from me. I have seen people saying that I have done things like this to other garages, I have seen that it was Fords or Triumphs. Let me put people straight on this. I have not owned many Fords, they were never my cup of tea, and the ones I have owned were either new or close to it, the best being a Ford Explorer. I have never had to have work carried out on the Fords I have owned other than routine maintenance, services and the likes, they were always carried out at a Ford dealer, are you seriously trying to say I didn't pay a Ford dealer? The other car make I have heard I did this to was Triumph, I have owned quite a few Triumph's, seperate chassis variety such as Triumph Heralds and Triumph Spitfires, I did almost all of the maintenance on these cars myself, as this is going back to when I was able. One particular Spitfire needed a new engine, and I got Totally Triumph in Cheshire to do that work for me, the owner of Totally Triumph at the time was a bloke called Max, he actually owned a Z31 which he had restored to a great standard. Anyway, Totally Triumph did the work, it cost me £650.00 and upon completion of the work Totally Triumph and Max were paid in full, I am sure if Max is still there he would be more than happy to verify this, if he isn't, I'm sure there will be a record of it somewhere. What I do suggest to the people that think or have been told that I have done this type of thing before, to go away, obtain the verifiable facts such as the name of the garage, the name of the person that did the work, and get back to me with these details, so I may do any explaining there is to be done, but I won't hold my breath, as I have never not paid for anything in my life. Finally Calum, would you please tell me if you remember going to London in Keith's VW Sharran to collect a breaker? It turned out that you couldn't get the breaker onto the trailer, and instead of staying somewhere local for the night and trying to get the car the following day, you made me drive all the way back to Shrewsbury, and we had to go and collect the car with Lee Dent, we had bacon butties at a lovely member of this forum, I cant think of her name now off hand, but we had tea and bacon butties off her twice, and left the car trailer at her place so we didn't have to tow it back and forth. Please tell me you remember this fact Calum, I think I actually catalogued my journeys for Zeds and Zed parts on here, so it won't be too hard to prove, but thought you could save me the time looking if you say you remember it. That's where people fail Tom, only hearing one side of a story, and taking what is being said is true. I will offer to back you up if you decide to go down the route of reporting this to the police though Tom, there is strength in numbers and I will help anyone who opens a case about L.A. Autos with the police. By the time I heard my cars had all been sold on, it was too late for me, but I knew in time Lee Dent would show his true colours again, unfortunately he chose you to crap on. I'm not saying you are having a go at me Tom, you heard that I didn't pay Lee Dent, this is a total fabrication, and I paid Lee Dent every penny I owed him. People are saying I had a history of doing this to car garages, please can anyone who thinks this is the case reply to this thread with the name and address of any garage I am supposed to have done this to in the past? I have heard it was Fords, or Triumphs. I have not owned many Fords, they were never my cup of tea, and I only owned modern ones that were either new or very near new when I had them. I owned some Triumphs, but I did most of the work on those myself, very easy to work on. On one of my Triumph Spitfires, I had to have a new engine fitted, I used a Triumph specialist out in Cheshire for the work, it cost me £650, a bloke called Max was the owner of Totally Triumph, and I am not too sure whether he still owns Totally Triumph or not, but if he does, I'm sure he would be more than happy to do as JeffTT very kindly did for me, and vouch that after the work was completed Totally Triumph were paid what they were owed. Tom, I am just trying to put people right, people that know me, and I am sure people that realise that not paying for services supplied to me is not in my character whatsoever, Keith knew that I had paid Lee Dent the money, because I told Keith I paid him most of it from a breaker that we had bought from London, Keith's reply was "Lee didn't tell me that". Well of course Lee didn't tell him that, Lee was very economical with the truth, as you are finding out to your cost.

I did get the police involved as soon as I heard that my cars had been sold on Tom, unfortunately I never received any notification of any court case (ex wife never forwarded mail on), or I would have arrived at court and fought for my cars back. The police investigated, but Lee made up paperwork to say I hadn't paid, and he got away with it. I will never pay anyone cash for anything after learning this lesson the hard way. My cars had already been sold on by this point Tom, but I hadn't heard a thing about it. The matter was reported and investigated by a police officer by the name of Hall, his badge number is 3412, he works for West Mercia Police,Crime Bureau (North) Grosvenor House, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 3AB, telephone number 0300 333 3000. I really do hope that you never go through a complete breakdown Tom, because believe me, you won't know which was is up. Like I say, with a divorce going on, I could not have afforded to pay a solicitor for this as well. The committee were powerless Tom, they were my first port of call, and it was because Lee Dent was not a trader on the site at that time, I'm sure one of the committee members can vouch for this being true.

Do you think Ian dissappear ingredients might have had something to do with the breakdown he had following this and other things that were going on at the time Tom? How can you listen to one side of a story and come to the conclusion I am guilty? Let me see if I can answer any of your accusations. Please could you give me the name of the "other garage" that I am supposed to have done something too? Let's have everything out in the open and see where it leads. You see, I have only ever had my Zed worked on by 1 other garage, the rest was carried out by Lee Dent at L.A. Autos or Keith KJZ32, but Keith was not a garage, and I hope Keith would state that he was always paid well for what he did to my Zed as these were closer to my home. The other garage was Zedworld and JeffTT. I had only just purchased my Zed and I wanted it checking out, serviced and MOT'd, between booking my car in with Zedworld and me driving down there, I ordered a new stereo to go in my Zed. The radio arrived before I made the trip, so I put it in the car and took it with me, I did this because I wanted Zedworld to be able to see exactly what I had when I asked them if they could fit it for me. Upon arrival at Zedworld (my first ever visit) I told Jeff about the stereo I had purchased, I asked if a) he was able to fit it, and b) if he could fit it the same day, or did he want me to book the car in again to have the stereo fitted at another time, and c) how much fitting it was going to cost me, neither of these questions were answerable without seeing the unit and fitting instructions, hence me taking it with me. Jeff told me he could fit it that same day, gave me a price on top of the quote for the other work, and did it all that day. Now if Jeff is saying that I took extra work down there for him to do, why did he quote for the work and say he could do it? I think this is really petty, and this is the only other garage I took my Zed for for work. Let's see if JeffTT can answer to this if indeed it is Jeff who has told other people I took extra work down for him to do. Lee Dents bill was paid in full Tom, but a bit like your prop shaft all knowledge was denied or not answered. Lee got a cob on with me because I threatened police action if he didn't give me my cars back, because all communications were ended by Lee Dent, I could not speak to him at all, sounds sort of familiar hey? Tom, you knew me, did I ever give you any reason to doubt that I would not pay for services I had used?

Time to set a few records and rumours about me straight I think. I was never going to return to this forum, but in light of what is being maliciously said about me, and the libel that is being written, I thought that before my solicitor gets the information I will reply to some of the vicious nasty items that have been said about me. Sorry Si, I'm starting with your comment because you were the first to comment and not that your post was vicious or nasty at all mate. Ian did pay my friend, Ian paid every cent that Lee Dent asked for for working on my Zed.
