  1. Keen to see pics of the blue tint targa tops Tony.
  2. Great thread, I’m taking a seat!
  3. That is very frustrating after all the effort, gutted I’m not going to see this machine or catch up with you now. Onwards and upwards though, at least the pressures off and you won’t feel forced into cutting corners. Take your time with it now, you have a whole winter to make it perfect. [emoji106]
  4. Stumbled across these, they look nice: UK Manual with 75k miles for 10k: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F232985386261 And a smart looking ‘94 vert, shame it’s an auto but I’m liking the ivory trim: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F264022840980
  5. I think it needs a space, Richard S.
  6. That’s the same location with a photo from a different angle? In your pic the door is closed and the window open, the pic is taken from just outside the car, in line with that vent.
  7. Every day is a school day. [emoji106] Thanks for the info there, it would be great to see that manual for nostalgia purposes if you have a scan?
  8. They didn’t publish the murder story following this incident on Wednesday:
  9. I had the Chassis Dynamics springs with KYB shocks. The ride height was decent but the ride was fairly unforgiving compared the the Eibach springs that they replaced, they weren’t terrible and I was happy with them but I didn’t know I can have a custom ride height without sacrificing softness. Like yourself I wanted more control of the ride height but was worried about ruining the ride quality. After much consultation with the guys at MeisterR, I decided to bite the bullet and give them a try. I went for the softer spring rate that was initially recommended for the 2+0 for my 2+2 (6/4 combo) and set the damping to max soft. I can honestly say, the ride is so much more forgiving than the Chassis Dynamics AVO springs. It feels very compliant and super streetable maintaining a GT car smoothness, dialling out the bumps with no harshness or crashiness. One thing I will say is that this lack of resistance in the springs led to a noticeably large increase in body roll; actually an embarrassingly wobbly jelly blancmange amount of roll that felt awful on cornering! I adjusted my Stillen anti-roll bars to the “stiffest” setting and the transformation was great. A very smooth and enjoyable ride. As Pete has mentioned, it is possible that your 2+0 won’t respond in the same way due to the wheelbase and weight differences etc but I would suspect the results comparison between lowered springs and the MeisterR setup to be a similar contrast. With regards build quality, I had read some stories about poor coatings on these products but I think they have been improving the durability. The CRD models should be better but they do offer a product called Anti-Rust Coat (ARC) for around £15(?) which I’ve applied every now and again. Mine have been on for a few years now and still look like new. They don’t get used in salty winter weather though and I cover around 3k miles a year. I don’t think the quality of other brands in the same price bracket are any better, such as Tein, BC etc.
  10. Devolution of the regions. I think it’s an unfortunate reality but I’m not convinced it will change too much when it comes to attendance. I’m fairly sure the Cornwall members will point blank ignore a meet in Kent!
  11. We broke a record that day for the most amount of single manufacturer cars on the track at one time. It lasted a week when it was beaten by the Ferrari owners club!
  12. What is Simon Fox’s roll at Nissan out of curiosity, it’s nice to see Nissan UK actively acknowledging the heritage model enthusiasts.

  14. Haha snap! I think a 300ZC is a typo version of the 300ZX given that the X & C are keyboard neighbours!
  15. Hi and welcome to the club [emoji106] Congrats on the recent purchase, do share some pictures [emoji41]
  16. Haha! You’ve crossed the line! What coating are you going for?
  17. I’m told the LHD part numbers are different.
  18. Does anyone know the part numbers of RHD wing mirror glasses? Heated and non-heated number will be great if anyone has them. Joel.
  19. Glad you’re ok Pete, the bumper seems to have taken the impact well. Looks like you hit the sweet spot directly front on to spread the load across the front instead of pushing in a corner. Hope it doesn’t put you off and you get back on it in the new year [emoji41]
  20. I’m sure some of these guys forget they have a 300zx in the garage somewhere and go and buy another one!
  21. I think you’ll stand up well against any contender in the cleanliness of your undercarriage there Lee!
