Nissan are definitely still churning these gearboxes out so he’s missing out on a sale!

Give them this part number 3201054P21 to help them find the right parts catalogue. When I’ve spoken to Nissan in the past they point blank refused that my car exists because the VIN number is not recognised on their database. When they gave me an example of the only numbers they recognised, it was the format of the UK supplied cars, not imports.

Bennetts taking the p.ssss
Do Admiral offer an agreed valuation for your Z? It wasn’t a service they offered when I was with them which is why I left.

Rear lights and centre panel sealant
The centre panel uses 2 foam gaskets which can generally be reused, these work well so if they’re not a crumbling mess, they’ll be fine. Remove the centre panel first. The outer clusters need to be warmed from the inside in order to soften the adhesive/sealant and allow the clusters to be removed. If there is enough of this left on the car once removed and a decent amount on the lights you’re fitting, you can get away with just warming it up again and reusing it. Just make sure it fills the gaps and is water tight. Failing that, you can buy the proper sealant from Nissan in strips or just use a rain and gutter sealant type product from B&Q!

It’s advertised as a type 2 so not an early version, I would expect to see the embossed logo on the number plate recess like this:- Alarm/immobilized help - I'm stuck
An old member (Securicar) is a qualified alarm system installer and used to fit Sigma alarms for OEM. He rated them as one of the most reliable systems on the market and still fits them today. Glad you got it sorted Lee.- Heat Matrix hoses - RHD and LHD the same?
Here you go Simon, they’re conveniently located in the “body electrical” section! I replaced mine a few years ago when one started to leak, they’re great fun to change! Have you considered getting the silicone ones from CZP, they weren’t available when I replaced mine but it’s probably a good idea. http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/er_z32/1993_1/type_1/body_electrical/heater_piping/ Part numbers are: Outlet - 9241030P00 - https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-9240030p00-hose-water/ Inlet - 9240030P00 - https://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/nissan/nissan-9241030p00-hose-water/- Blyton Park Track North Lincs?
