  1. This competition was pretty heated towards the end there, it could’ve gone either way for the runners up! Well done to everyone who entered, they’re all fantastic examples of this 30 year old beast. I had a hot favourite and it seems that the majority of voters agreed with me, but voting is never easy with such a high standard across the board. I get the feeling Nick’s lovely example is going to continue to sweep up the awards as all the pieces of the project are gradually sewn together to create what will probably result in one of the most desirable and inspirational Zeds in the club. It won’t be without stiff competition though as there are so many awesome machines around at the moment.
  2. I’d take the documentation back to the garage that failed you so you don’t have to pay for a retest.
  3. I used to have one of them 3 gauge din slot mounts, they’re pretty good quality and a nice fit. Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t make them anymore so Like does sell them. [emoji20]
  4. Happy New Year Everybody [emoji106]
  5. I did? [emoji848] I’ve been into the garage and turned off her life support (CTEK 5.0), it’s been emotional!
  6. Sounds like the spring is too firm for the boost with that fluttering!
  7. There is a thread that details members locations with the software but it’s probably out of date. You’re pretty central so there should be someone close by that can help you out.
  8. The clear indicators were never sold by Nissan, there are some “Nismo” branded ones around but they’re generally the same product as the eBay jobbies. With regards to your idle issue, your best bet is to find a local member with a conZult and plug it in for diagnosis. Common causes would include a boost leak or a defect in the idle control system. You could follow your own diagnosis with simple tools using the 6 P’s guide. Many of these steps would be made easier with the use of a conZult but I would certainly recommend the going through each step to complete the health check. https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?172077-The-6-p-s
  9. What a great thread [emoji106]
  10. Simon will be raging when you blast past him and release all that boost to atmosphere right by his drivers window!
  11. That’s me in that pic by the way, stomping my feet that I was vetoed and banned from entry!
  12. Where are all the guns out, sword fight, picture battle, Z marketing, vote generation posts?...
  13. You could always buy the windows version of Datascan and use a laptop to connect it to your car. The software is pretty handy but the conZult software is better, with more features so I’d recommend that over the NDS. It is more expensive though.
  14. Great feedback Chris [emoji106] Don’t forget to give all this valuable info in the trader feedback section. [emoji41] https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?182609-Z-Related-Trader-Feedback
  15. If it’s definitely coolant then it will most likely be your heater matrix that is leaking.
  16. Unfortunately I sent the Spark back [emoji20] And upgraded it! There were a few things I wasn’t happy with on the Spark and although it’s cost quite a few pennies extra, I decided to take the plunge for a Mavic Air. This one will be more than adequate for my needs. I’ve given it a quick test flight in the garden but it’s now ready for the big man to wrap it up and bring it down the chimney, slipping it under the tree in a few days time! [emoji41]
  17. Welcome to the club buddy.
  18. It wouldn’t be a double din then though. [emoji106]
  19. Welcome to the club buddy. Best of luck in the job hunt and the subsequent Z hunt! [emoji41]
  20. Happy Birthday Steve, hope you’re well. [emoji482]
