  1. That’s a fantastic looking Z [emoji106] Welcome to the club.
  2. Belated Birthday wishes Pete [emoji106]
  3. You can get that hose in silicone too which might last longer than the OEM rubber. https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-11826-30p10-s-silicone-pcv-hose-rear-lh-nissan-300zx-90-96-z32_p_3936.php If you get the brake booster hose from jp car parts, you may aswell sling the PCV hose on that order (if you don’t want the silicone one). You could probably order the PCV hose in the UK or from the usual companies in the US but that brake booster hose is NLA and JP seems to be the only place to source them that I know of currently, so you could make the most of the shipping cost!
  4. Most of the Facebook groups repost pics now without bothering to tag the owner!
  5. Happy Birthday Ian [emoji3060] [emoji322]
  6. Did someone say favourite garage?
  7. Enjoy the sunshine lads, picked a nice day for it. Stuck at work myself [emoji3525]
  8. I could do with getting one of those myself too really!
  9. You can find your brake booster hose at JP carparts in Japan. http://jp-carparts.com/nissan/part_detail.php?maker=nissan&type=132&cartype=&fig=470*&part=4747140P01&page=1&img=470=%20001 Not cheap though!
  10. It’s unlikely that I will be partaking in this trip I’m afraid guys. [emoji17]
  11. Looks like a goodun Simon [emoji106]
  12. It does look stunning, what a fantastic colour! [emoji41]
  13. Popped up to have a look Andrew, it looks good in the new colour. A very brave choice though, the first Z to host the colour Cocoa Dust Pearl:
  14. Please find me an Abflug Power Superior for the same price [emoji106]
  15. Are you booking a club stand Craig or do we need to apply individually?
  16. Looking at the wiring diagrams, it looks possible that the energising side of the coil may be working, switching the relay, but the supply side is not getting through. Have you checked these 3 fuses shown below? If they’re not blown I’d do some checks across the pins to make sure the supply is there, maybe an issue with the plug or connection underneath. Have you done anything recently to the electrics or around them? Is yours a UK car?
  17. I’m surprised you actually got anywhere after that and didn’t just sit down and admire until time to leave!
  18. Thanks Paul, sounds like a plan [emoji41]
  19. Wow, a nice selection there, looked like a great show.
  20. Any news on allowing late arrivals, Paul?
  21. That Megs stuff is reviewed quite well, use it as a top up to protect your LSP and as a drying aid when washing. I wouldn’t use it on the wet stage as per the instructions as it has too much wastage. Follow the other option; give the car a quick spruce over with the drying towel after washing (you’ll have some fine water streaking) and then use this with a clean cloth to finish off to a nice shine. Don’t use too much though otherwise it’ll leave streaks of its own, and don’t forget you can go wild with it over every surface of the car including rubbers and glass so it’s a quick procedure! I would use (and have used) roof & gutter sealant on your targas.
  22. Forgot to mention, it can be reinstalled with basic tools, the right size socket on the outer race, keeping it level and driving it home (if they don’t have access to a press). Once it’s fully home, there is just enough beef left on the outer edge to peen the edge over in a few places to hold it in place (assuming you don’t have the right size swage tool!), that said, I still installed mine with some Loctite bearing adhesive for belt and braces. It will need pressing out though.
  23. Hi Jeff, The original pulley has an NTN bearing swaged I to place but the bearing can still be teased out with a press. The NTN replacement bearings are peanuts relative to a new OEM assembly! Just make sure the pulley is still true as mine was somehow misshaped! Post from replacement (not very helpful!): https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?179722-An-OEM-Z32-Beyond-Expectation&p=1974544&viewfull=1#post1974544 Bearing used (helpful): PN: NTN 6301 LLU C3 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F232349937763 The 6301 is the size of the bearing (12x37x12), LLU means it is rubber sealed to protect from the elements (same as the stock bearing) and the C3 denotes a clearance size in the bearing races. I was advised on this from a bearing specialist due to the constant rotation speed and heat variations for longevity. That is the exact part and manufacturer that is installed in the OEM pulleys.
  24. I honestly think that these guys do some of the best paint jobs going, especially if you’re after a show car finish as the attention to detail in the final finish is amazing. It does come at a price though.
  25. There are miles and miles of quiet country roads spanning from my village all the way up to Suffolk. Ideally, there needs to be a driver of the subject Z(s) so I can attempt to pilot the drone and get some more dynamic footage of the cars in motion.
