  1. Has a new OEM one ever been the clutch to use? Clutches are a bit like UK specialists at the moment Lee, there’s only one that’s worth using! What you want is a Specialty Z/RPS Street Max. It has long been the best clutch for performance up to 700ftlb of torque but with the latest revision, it’s also the nicest feeling clutch on the market! Pair it up with a 350z fork kit and the accompanying flywheel and you’ll have all you ever need! https://www.specialtyz.com/sz-sport-street-for-vg30dett-and-vq35s-822.html.html https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/clutch-flywheel.html https://www.specialtyz.com/300zx/clutch-flywheel/sz-flywheel-vg30de-tt.html
  2. The symptoms are identical to what mine was doing before I had my starter reconditioned. When I took it in, the guy that assessed it pointed out straight away that the clutched throwout mechanism had worn and was slipping. He had to send that away to a specialist up north but I had it back and rebuilt within a week and it was like new. No problems since. That would be my prime suspect, where did you get the reconditioned motor from?
  3. Did you replace the starter with a used item?
  4. Welcome to the club [emoji106]
  5. Or the relative lack of a market over here. I were teasing Nick Letsom of CZP the other day about not having a UK distribution centre and he said we are just not a big enough customer base here.
  6. Sounds good to me [emoji106] I didn’t manage to capture everything there but here’s a small selection of diversity on a supposedly quiet day:
  7. Caffeine and Machine [emoji41]
  8. Yes, I should be there by then. Although I haven’t bought a ticket just in case, have you guys all bought tickets?
  9. They did used to be very popular! We struggle to get that many Z’s to our club national meet these days!
  10. A1 300zx? Show-off! [emoji13]
  11. I don’t think it’s a service item but if it does fail, it has potential to cause a catastrophic overheat. Might as well replace it for piece of mind. Buy 2 and have another as a spare.
  12. Unlikely if your rad cap is a new one, but my last coolant leak was caused by excessive pressure in the system and it was simply down to the rad cap not functioning correctly. £10 for a new rad cap and all was well again! (+ the cost of the replacement hose that gave in to the pressure!)
  13. It’s been nice knowing you lads, the dark side beckons! [emoji1787]
  14. Does the OEM undertray not work with the TwinZ bumper?
  15. Dammit, are the arches a step too far? Can we not push the boundaries of OEM+ a bit further? Just the arches, smoothed in as shown, no vented bonnets, lairy bumpers or roof spoilers etc? So exactly as my car is now, but with those arches... [emoji848]
  16. Funny you should say that, I mentioned the same thing on the club Facebook page!
  17. Good spot, in fact it was after looking at that footage that I allocated some time to give the pipes some attention, missed that off the list!
  18. Nightmare dude, any idea of the nature of the failure?
