  1. OK, Out with the Venom injectors Thought I would go for either the Nismo 740cc or PE 850cc. I see that there are two kit versions from Z1 motorsport. One with the 300Degree rails and one with machine lower plenum. What is recomended and best? Will PE 850cc use more fuel than the nismo 740CC or nismo 555cc?
  2. Bought some Venom injectors of Ebay. (I know... :smw: ) I have delivered them for testing. There was no documentation with the injectors i got...The company that are testing them need to know how much they are supposed to delivery under a set pressure in order to see if they deliver what they are supposed too... Hope this makes sense to someone. not the best explenation i guess...
  3. ok then. either MS/ams or stock then... is there a bigger risk of cracking with the ms/ams than stock?

  5. The lines ended up here (red circles). Is it for the Hicas? steering? Can I remove the soo called cooler?
  6. Anyone know what this is? It was mounted in front of the original oilcooler. And any idea to what I am supposed to do or where to mount it after installing the oilcooler from Z1?
  7. Hi The 18 year old wires on the gearbox snapped when removing the gearbox.. Anyone know where I can get those wires that come out of the gearbox?
  8. Anyone heard of DPD Couriers and that they need an 11 digit #. For example 300000 33000. Think that will be my birth and personal number... Never heard of a company that needs that before....??
  9. The venom is going to flowtested. Why new oem o-rings?? About chiping.. would love to take the trip and have John Dixon to the setup.. But wouldn't I need a new chip first?? Can't drive on the old one with new 555cc and doolz. I have considered some of the lightweight stuff, but it will have to be another time.. But think I will go for a lightweight flywheel to the clutch. Is the RPS Max street clutch a lot heavier than the OEM? Suspesion and brakes is going to be upgraded, but one thing at the time (Drive safe = no problem) Engine has to come out. Rather to the power upgrade now rather then take the engine out again later..

  11. Just thought I would post my list of what I am going to buy and replace on my engine when it comes out this winter and see if I could get some opinions... - Engine rebuild kit from Z1 or Czp. (around $1400) - 120K Timingbelt kit - GT600R turbo - Venom 550CC (bought. Going to test them) - Z1 SMIC intercooler - EGR removal kit - Doolz with apexi - OEM wiring harness - 2,5" test and downpipes - complete PVC set - and a new chip of course... - new OEM motor mount - Z1 oil cooler - A new clutch (ideas. Would like it to be as close to oem feeling as possible) And of course remove the CC,AIV,EGR and so on.. Think that was it.. What do you think??

  13. Is it possible to remove just the lower part of the engine in order to change pictons or do I have to work my way 'down'?

  15. thanks for the tip. The one thing I'm worried about is that the car won't get enough fuel at high rpm and go boooom. I will rather be on the safe side.
  16. The politicans don't like cars!!:( or anything that has to do with cars... But yes, we do have 98 octane too. But why not 95 octance rather than 98? I do not care if I get 2 or 3 more hp on 98...
  17. Making some upgrades to the car like 555cc injectors and so on. Need a new chip then. I have JWT chip now. But that is made for 93 octance if I'm not wong.? I need a chip that is set up with 95 octance. where to I get one and which one is recommended?

  20. Can the short block be removed on the VGDETT engine and be replaced with stage 1 or 2 short block from Z1 Motorsport without removing the engine?
  21. hmmm... think I'm going to lift the engine out. Seems like more work to remove the subframe. Must i remove the transmission in order to get the engine out and in again? Also, must I remove all the items described in the TTzd engine removal?
  22. Is there anyone who knows how and if it is easier to remove the engine by lifting the car up rather than lifting the engine?
  23. yellow zeds don't look to bad. so maybe yellow with a bit of orange?? Personally always like the zed with purple camelon paint...(???)
  24. About the C1 sides. Bought a pair from Z center. The middle part of the C1 goes under the door. Is it supposed to be removed?? Have looked at some pictures of cars with the C1 but can't really tell if it goes under the door or not. (good as extra support i gues)
  25. Also had white smoke comming from my exhaust when idleing from cold to warm. Didn't pay much attetion do it since I just replaced the exhaust and just thought it was because of that. result.. the engine need rebuild. After a wile I got white smoke from within the engine (just open the lock where you fill oil to check after warming it up a bit for white smoke) and also what might be water... No 100% sure though.. So looking for new engine now. Whould also consider a compression test... If you're lucky it's just the seals or the turbos. Worth checking the pcv to.
