  1. For discussion's sake; the cars you list are almost exlusively light low powered cars satisfying one aspect to sports cars. If we go by definition Performance car for high speeds (180mph) ✔ Nimble handling ("In a 1991 handling test, the 300ZX Turbo came in second place out of 10 competitors, beating such cars as the Toyota MR2, Mazda Miata, Porsche 944 S2, and Chevy Corvette ZR-1. What did it lose to? None other than the Acura NSX.") I think we got this one too. Sure its sort of heavy but when it surges forward with the turbo power it would be hard to say its more of a crusier than a sporty car.
  2. Not a sports car  But I agree its more of a GT car, but that doesn't mean it's not sporty. The weight thing is a bit unclear though, the r33-34 GTR are both over 1.5tonnes, porsche 911 in 1990 was pretty close, would you not consider those sports cars based on their weight?.
  3. Oh I had a car with one of those. It went in the bin I think
  4. There has been better tyre development since the pzeros. That's not to say their bad tyres. I have some pzeros on the back of my car and they were £120ish a piece.
  5. The red zed has this cup holder https://www.ebay.com/itm/162559336490 Which is reasonably neat but a bit of a pain to fit.
  6. We know it, and it's terribly inaccurate.
  7. You must be delighted if you owned the only KH6 UK Z in existence
  8. This is the image you're getting confused about: I would say its very unlikely that yours are 550cc injectors.
  9. I wouldn't get a new tailgate, rust free ones arent common nowadays. Any proficient bodyshop can weld it up and painted with the spoiler painted at the same time.
  10. Well you weld the holes up.
  11. It was a long time ago on facebook that he was breaking his engine parts so I can't remember what specific parts. Ill withhold any judgement.
  12. No I cannot provide evidence but it was the deduced factor as it was one of the only components not replaced within builds. As far as I could tell it was a well built engine. Crank balanced and polished, brand new forged pistons and rods and a brand new rps flywheel. I do not know all the details, it could have been oil starvation, improper bearing thickness or whatnot. But for me I think I'll stay with the better safe than sorry with the known balanced and harmonically dampened OEM pulley :) Would you say personally that there is little risk with them? I twitch when I see people putting cheap ebay pulleys on.
  13. I personally wouldn't. The majority of aftermarket crank pulleys don't have a harmonic balancer, and ive seen someones VG destroyed 3 times due to a not balanced pulley (crank bearings prematurely worn). By the time you're in gear and there is drivetrain resistance, the weight reduction isn't that impactful. So personally I would stay safe with the OEM for piece of mind that you know its good.
  14. I'd like to propose a correction to that guide in which this bracket In which the bracket is supposed to stay attached to the bumper with a little toothed clip at the bottom. That is if you still have an unrusted bracket.
  15. Sorry to be 'that guy', but the badge is on upside down :innocent: Looks better though. Could perhaps give the front bumper a buff :) I also did one of those vector sketches a long time ago.
  16. Yeah that was what I was getting at. Description says selling it for his son who went to uni. god I hope i dont see my cars up on ebay one day
  17. You can trim the nose panel on the bottom to fit a stock bumper, but cant get a stock panel to fit the strosek bumper. New front end would be best, and also side skirts and wing, and also steering wheel, and a whole new engine bay, and cleaning up the interior, and fixing the junk shell. Its a lot of work.
  18. Oh my god that engine bay. And Stephen you cant just change the nose panel as it is custom to the strosek kit, you will have to change the whole front bumper.
  19. One of the things I have to remove from Dads car. Drives me nuts. Did a google and people think it improves performance? https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?65784-grounding-kit
  20. Some horror stories came out of there too.
  21. I'll leave this here Looks good to me. If it's the style you're after or not is your decision
  22. I know. You told me, shame as it's the only swb one I've seen. Yowser was selling the skirts from it not too long ago.
