  1. Anyone confirm how so? Activate at a different temperature? because they will 'bolt in' both.
  2. They are the same. I'll message you in a week's time when I get my hands on it.
  3. Ah out of all the zeds, never had one with an airbag in it :)
  4. I probably have a used one for £20 if any good?
  5. What do you need a torx for?
  6. If I don't have it, I have a load of these nissan 2 wire connectors which may be neater than bullet connectors
  7. How does the 15mpg and premium fuel convince you lol
  8. Sorry to revive the thread. Surely the green is Series 1 ECU? Ive got 2x1990 cars and both have green stickered ECUs.
  9. It should have some resistance, feels like its spinning in syrup, but should be easy to move.
  10. Viscous coupling locked? Can you spin it freely with the engine switched off?
  11. Do you have an electric fan instead of the viscous one?
  12. Hmm maybe there are screws on the inside? It's been a long time since I've taken apart an na wheel. But put simply you need to remove that contact bit.
  13. They changed it to add an airbag to the wheel for regulations. On the right, the plastic bit with the contact should pry off the wheel if you give it a tug (try not to rip the wire out). Then I believe you should be met by a familiar sight.
  14. Yeah it's a nightmare. I had to rip everything out and go back to stock.
  15. Your new wheel is a simple na one yes. It uses a horn contact instead of the plug on the rotating assembly. If you take the contact plate off, you could wire the horn to the centre pin on the plug. Or swap the centres (I think)
  16. Turn off javascript. On most browsers, click the button to the left of the address bar (on chrome it says secure), and for javascript click always block. It may block other stuff though.
  17. It is an impul car so all the impul bells and whistles including bodykit ECU sway bars. The silver one belongs to SLICKTOP and is probably my favourite club car. This is a mapping thread though I'll try not to clutter it :)
  18. Just use Si or Simon. And Jeff is not a ECU chip maker or tuner, but a retired Z specialist. But lets move on :)

Last year Coventry it was 16-17 iirc?
  20. It's you old people putting them on! :tt2:
  21. Happy birthday James
  22. Not your fault, tensions can rise but it will cool off. Just to take away, you can use a chip when going 14psi with exhaust and intake. In theory you can run 14psi stock ECU (one of my car's runs 12psi stock tune no problem at all), but it is more than power, a safety factor. If you want more power, say you have a selin kit and intercoolers, maybe some intake pipework. You will need larger injectors and therefore get a map for the car. That's not to say it's a bad idea to get a map on a 14psi setup.
  23. I did get a trophy though :innocent: Could you guys take this in private please :)
  24. Ive always found Jap maps are rich because they have access to higher octane fuels.
