What did you do to your zed today?
Yayy, car just went through the MOT so all back on track now. Amazing that an 18 year old car only had an issue with the steering rack bushes. Thanks again for all your help Paul, lets put a plan together for spin out ASAP.

What did you do to your zed today?
NemesizX came over with a boot full of spanners today, 4 hours later after much banter whilst changing the steering rack bushes, he did it, both of us crawling under the motor was a sight ! Thanks Paul, really appreciate your time and dedication to keeping us on the road, couldn't have done it without your help and time man, let's hope she gets through the MOT now!,, Oh, and I got a cool gift as well, cheers mate!

Help !! MOT failure......Polyurethane Steering Rack Mounting Car Bush Kit SPF2492K
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SuperPro-Polyurethane-Steering-Rack-Mounting-Car-Bush-Kit-High-Quality-SPF2492K-/331509011613?fits=Model%3A300+ZX&hash=item4d2f7a149d:g:sVAAAOSwAPlXhJzC Car failed the MOT today as apparently I need the steering rack bushes replaced. Whizzed through everything else. Question. Will the ones advertised above fit a 1998 JDM TT? MPN SPF2492K Reference OE/OEM Number 5445-71L00, 5444-35F00 Never lists the 98 models but I'm guessing its the same as the 95 specs? Gotta get these brought and fitted in the next 10 days or cost of another re-test..... ;-( Plus I am itching to drive her...... again.....and again....

Insurance Value - Purple Haze
Cheers Yowser, Lancaster stated they need photos but I will ensure the car is insured with an Agreed Insurance Value before I commit. How does one get an Independant Insurance Value normally?

- Insurance Value - Purple Haze
Thanks all, blimey, I wasn't expecting that much, chuffed to bits. They really are starting to appreciate now, fab news. Thanks again.- Insurance Value - Purple Haze
Hi All, those of you that don't know me, I have Purple Haze a JDM 1998 TT LWB Auto 140000Klicks (87K miles) on the clock. I am about to renew my insurance and have no idea what the value is today? I know what I paid for her last year, what work I have done, Mongoose Cat Backs, HID replacement, Waxoiled, new boots and Serviced but what do I insure her for? Would appreciate any advice chaps, Footman wanted another 50 odd quid over last year and Lancaster seem to have come good when I said 8K value and 3K miles per year, BUT is 8K right. I have to send in 6 photos, engine bay, interior, outside, alloys and they said they can work out the value from that, sounds a bit mad to me. Anyway, any advice is welcomed....cheers- A'PEXi vs OEM intakes
Si, I'm going to change mine from stock, can you kindly point me towards a link where I can source the A`pexi, that's if it's still available and you have time, ta. Tried poaching round on eBay and got totally confused :-) I understand I need an adapter as well? Just want to get the right kit from the off, cheers- End of year meet,
i am toying with it as its a 2 hour drive for me, let me see what date is decided on and ill go from there. December is out though. Pub looks ace !- Event idea for 2017 your thoughts and input please

Limited accommodation though, is there anything around here for camping and additional rooms I'm not sure ....- Event idea for 2017 your thoughts and input please
Luxury hotel, with private jacuzzi, sauna and masseuse, failing that, a cabin I guess.....- Event idea for 2017 your thoughts and input please
Did this earlier this year in the zed, went from Lee Dents gaff, via horseshoe pass, the evo triangle, A5 and A4026 road to a hotel just outside Caernarfon. Next day down through Snowdonia park and over the black mountains, I did all the top gear roads and it was awesome. I'm in. Don't care when, just let me know. I went on the spring bank holiday beginning of May and it was boiling, sun all the way... lucky I know...- Boxhill to Brighton Sunday 18th Septemeber
Fantastic day, must do again next year. Thanks to H for organising a great day out, really good fun and great to meet everyone. The drive down was a memory I'll never forget, 10 Zeds having fun in the sun, doesn't get any better, cheers.- Boxhill to Brighton Sunday 18th Septemeber
Spot on mate, I will bell you when I'm pulling up, nice one, looking forward to this- Nemesizx selling up???
We have parlyed and I have given council. Yer man is stressed, but not giving up just yet. Needs to step back and take time to sort this and that. Paul does not want to sell her, just needs to know the score if he has to. Seems this intermittent injector was an injector failure to far and its done his head in, as it would. Time will sort it. In the meantime I guess any helpful tips would be helpful.- Nemesizx selling up???
Where is the ad Richie?- Autogearbox won't shift out of 2nd
Not sure of all the facts but, I have a series 4 98 model, Auto TT. Its a JDM so speedo is in kmh. We fitted a delimiter/mph converter to the back of the clocks. Car seemed OK till I got on decent straight, well the auto box went nuts, it was not changing gears correctly and over revving, like the clutch was slipping. The MPH conversion was fine but the box was a mess. I took it off, the box went back to normal straight away. I understand it has something to do with a 16 bit ECU, I believe the delimiter/converter only work correctly on earlier 8 bit ECU's, however, as I say I am not entirely sure this is correct. For now, I drive in kmh and don't worry about the delimiter. Ill sort out in the winter....- Is Gary Wilson's Zed underrated...?
It's a cracker, lovely motor. Subtle, clean and impressive.- Hello from Bedfordshire
