  1. OK, that's encouraging, thanks, need to research who can do the possible sw upgrade then? Pioneer UK were cool but basically said sorry, but no help here. Thanks all :-)
  2. Yeah Man, like R2 is sick, innit :-)
  3. Your right mate. Pioneer say it's region specific all but the Sat/nav should be OK. Will play with it and see what I c as n figure out myself, cheers man.
  4. Thanks Si, it is a Carrozzeria. No worries, I will try your advice and see what happens, gotta be worth a try mate, thanks!
  5. Hi All, I will be picking up a recent import 300zxTT soonest, I understand it has a great Pioneer multifunction system installed that's worth a few quid, BUT its obviously still in Japanese. Do any the lads know if I can switch this to English instruction's etc and get the sat/nav/DVD player to work in the UK? Any advice would be welcomed, Cheers!
  6. Cheers Medallion man, great links, appreciate it:-)
  7. Thanks Ianl , I kinda thought this was the case but was unsure as to why they would do this, no probs and thanks for the advice.
  8. Hi , do all twin turbo models have a turbo boost gauge in the dash layout as standard? Looking at a 1998 TT model and it doesn't appear? Newbie question btw :-)NB Can I get a 1998 TT manual on line,an owner's more than tech manual? Cheers
  9. Hi Nem, nice one mate, i am amazed at how helpful and friendly everyone is on the site. I will subscribe for sure as the response and threads i am seeing takes all the concern out of investing in a 17 year old motor. I'm getting a recent import model, just waiting for the plates and i can finalize the deal and pick it up. I cant wait! Ive had a 260z and 280zx back in my youth and want to get the 300zx so i can enjoy my weekends with like minded folk and just enjoy a terrific classic car. Its stock except for the lights/wheels and that's the way im going to keep it. Its fast enough and looks the dogs so why re-invent the wheel? I am seeing so many lads carry out mods and i thought it would be cool to just keep it the same way its come out of Japan? Im not against improving the car, just don't want to distract from the original as quite frankly i love it just the way it is! I will drop you a txt just now mate and thanks for the welcome mate, cheers!
  10. Thanks for the notice, I managed to get a great deal with Footman James and yep, its not a problem with the upgrades at all. I was amazed at the difference between a commercial insurance quote and a specialist, its massive, ranging from 785 to 180 quid! All done now anyway!
  11. Nice one Pebkau, thanks for advice mate

  15. Thanks guys, I guess I declare Gas? (zenon???) headlight mods and after market alloys when getting a quote?
  16. Thanks for the tip, looks good! Trying the usual sites and its putting me off buying the zed! Hopefully get a sensible quote tomorrow, thanks again mate.
