It was ok, rain put a dampner on the day. The venue was fine, mostly modded cars, I did see a a wonderful old Kawasaki 500 triple mind you. If enough lads are going, I will.

They are giving you good advice above mate. I live on the cambs/beds border and each time I need a job doing, I travel to Shrewsbury to Lee Dents place. You won't find a local spannerman that won't be either lost and/or will rip you off mate, you have to be prepared to travel.

Sound. How about Baldock Services just off the A1 at around 10:30am. Take the A507 straight out of Flitwick via Clophil and Chicksands, straight 20 minute drive to the service station mate.
