  9. Well, whilst i was chillin in the sun, my good buddy and all round zed guru/oracle, the one and only Mr Lee Dent of the ever expanding L.A Autos up in Shrewsbury, went to work on Phase 3 of Little Reds rebirth....its looking soo good and tons of stuff done..... Clutch changed, lots of deletes, bit o bling and my favourite illuminated rear panel and one off unique 99 spec rear lights, the wizard has excelled himself again.....
  10. After cars at the lake, as a chap on TV used to say, "I'm Free" :-)
  11. Craig, picking up my car from Lee on Saturday, would love to come to this on the Sunday, it's quite close to me mate. Can I still get a pass? Where are you meeting up ? cheers man.
  12. 300zx Cars. Advice & Parts. Friendship and a place to belong. It's not rocket science. There's enough negativity in the real world, don't need to read or hear about it in our Zed world. Move on, keep Zedding :-)
  13. Hello Chaps Can anyone recommend a good place to procure a Clutch Kit for a 89 NA. I noticed a wee bit of clutch shudder at Coventry and might as well change the whole thing i guess. What concerns me is that the europarts pages etc may not differentiate between TT and NA or Z31 or Z32 clutch, despite putting in the reg etc... just wanna make sure I get the right kit. Cheers! By the way, a standard OEM clutch is fine, don't need no stage 73.8 or super strength malarkey, just good old OEM will do fine methinks..... ta very much.
  14. Thanks Si, I purchased these two from fancy plates as it happens. I actually made the rear plate smaller as I thought it would look better.....not. no worries, I will order a replacement now. Cheers Mate.
  15. I must admit, I should have gone cut to size on the rear and fill in. It does look better.
  16. I hope so mate, be great to see you and the motor on Sunday chap, should be a great day....
  17. Hi all, I need to clean all the dust and crap left in the engine bay after retrieving my car from the body shop. It's a mess. I don't want to plunge straight in with high pressure water hose and want some advice on the best way/method to get the crap cleaned off. Can anyone recommend a good way to approach this. Thanks chaps.
  18. Thanks man, yes I believe it is mate, lightweight fibreglass chap.
  19. Well, what a palaver ! 8 weeks of hell.....the chaps I gave/trusted the car to for the re-spray/body work turned into the duo from hell......I have had so much grief just getting my car back and out of the body shop. A right couple of charmers who have basically stiffed me and left me with a less than decent respray and a couple of quid out of pocket. Lesson learned, ONLY ever let some one you know and trust with a good reputation loose on yer car. Literally, as I was taking the car away, bailiffs were moving in to seize anything left there, a nightmare. Still, thankfully i have got the car back and with some support, graft and a helping hand from Mr Paul Nemsizx Liff, (who i cannot thank enough, cheers mate) we have managed to get her looking halfway decent again. Today was the first time in nearly two months I have been able to have a spin out in her, some photos for you..... But it all came good, well to a point... I will have to start saving again now so I can get the body work finalised properly one day and the engine/bay aesthetics sorted, but for now I am going to just enjoy having her back and being able to drive her again....Happy Days !!
  20. Still in the body shop, not looking like I'll make it to the run either this year, sorry chaps.
