This is my new project which will be arriving next week. It's a 1993 na slicktop factory manual. I'm buying it from Baz who has already done a lot to it. The plan is to get it straight to Lee Dent so he can get it running when he gets time. Also need a couple of rust spots on the body work sorting. Then hopefully I can get to a few track days in it next year. Long term plan is to TT it or maybe even a v8 but just want to have some fun with it for now. Still looking for an na diff & swb prop.

The next time it move it will have a supercharger on it ;)

Nice! I remember this one was covered in moss head to toe and has some cheap chinese 99 spec tail lights on it. But should be a great project, ill look forward to updates on this. And if its a v8, make it a turbo v8 ;)

I'm amazed it hasn't got that much rust. It only took a year and a half standing to destroy my breaker. Nice start to an interior also though I guess you might not be keeping it. I'll get that clutch out probably tomorrow if all goes well, maybe my momo wheel would suit the track build ;)

Not much rust at all, some on the boot lid & rear arch but it's solid underneath. Engine is sat in place & the interior now looks complete & will be kept for now until I decide how far I want to go with it, proper track car or restore it.

Nice to see my old exhaust again. :)

I'm a little confused though... if it's an NA manual, why hasn't it already got an NA diff....?

Just never came with one, was missing when Baz bought it.

Can you pm me where this is please Andy.

Nice looking Slicktop. Look forward to seeing your progress.

Just messaged someone about a diff on another breaker, £300! I'm sure that's three times more than it should be.

Yes but NA subframes are sought after so he's just trying to take advantage of that and make a buck.

If you get stuck I will have a tt subframe as a last resort.

Not being funny but my NA diff and subframe was £225 reduced from £275 as I was a regular customer:innocent:, so £300 is probably a fair enough price:thumbup1:

& I thought na's were cheaper lol. I'm only after the diff not the subframe.

The subframe is useless without the diff though. Georgie French has a welded NA diff for sale on Facebook if it works in your track build.

NA diffs have 4.1 ratios compared to 3.69 so have faster acceleration, shaving about 1s off the 0-60. That's why everyone wants then and why they're more expensive.

They also delete the HICAS arms, just to give you an idea, look at the price of OEM z32 suspension arms on eBay, they're up for crazy money at the moment. Am I right in saying that you have an NA subframe with no diff Tom??

Yeh that's right Rich. I know the na diffs are more sought after but think £300 is a bit steep.

Indeed, you should be able to buy a complete conversion minus Prop Shaft for not much more than that. Hell you can buy a whole NA for not much more.
