  1. For us out of towners, is there an address and directions of where this event is happening ?
  2. That looks superb and I like the way you have positioned the steeing column to ensure no probs when fitted in the car. Real engineering project that.
  3. I wonder if they would also fit in a S2 gearbox. Mine is beginning to snick slightly.
  4. Just think of all the money you have saved on insurance having a UK Zed and that should cheer you up.
  5. Its standard and worse with after market alloy wheels and low profile tyres. turn the stereo up or get a noisier exhaust.:p
  6. Sounds expensive to me.....for secondhand. Once your ECU is socketed which is no great deal, JWT chips should not cost more than a £100. Look in the items for sale on here or contact Paul at SWZeds, he's a trader on here, I bet he would have a 2nd hand chipped ECU, but as Jeff stated, don't mess about with it until the get it checked out first.
  7. No you dont, there is actually a seal in a moving washer that keeps the oil in the rack so all should be dry.

Whatever, it sounds good to me. The rolling road would be good just to see what mine is doing since the bigger tubs have been fitted.

Your too fussy Dave, who gonna notice that.
  10. Your thinking about the auto box which was greatly improved 96 onwards.
  11. Presumably initiated when the rear screen heated window is switched on ?
  12. Website is still up and running. Perhaps Chopper has had the chop.

Yep, that sounds great, shame about the RR but what the heck it feels fast anyway.
  14. You aint gonna get the money at the mo', averyone is waiting to see what happens with this 'recession'. You either stash it till life picks up, or break it and get some money back now. I think the latter is the best option. Zeds don't like being laid up, look at Birds Zed for instance.

Blimey, I just looked at the map with a view to comng down....340 miles round trip, and speed cameras as well. I don't mind the £££'s for fuel it's the time on the road.
  16. There was one on Ebay unless Dan bought it.
  17. At his age he shouldnt be breakdancing like that.
  18. Blimey Vince, I thought you were only good with polish and hairspray, not spanners.

Thats a big word Dave, 'exotic'. If we have a calendar meet again and Lisa wears her shorts, we could have an 'exotic' car meet.
  20. 18th is a Saturday ?:(
  21. Very interesting Dave, thanks for that.:)
  22. I don't think the car is wrong, it sounds more like the garage. If they cannot be bothered to present it right, what sort of warranty after service will they give. They sound apathetic, which is a shame as these late model Zeds are still quite rare.
  23. I found these pictures recently posted on an Italian website which shows Ferrari's first attempt at a motorbike. Obviously a prototype and surely only done for photographic reasons as I cannot see that it would have the cooling ability under this sort of body skin.
