last things i need to do before scrap car tomorrow! (NA to TT)

last things i need to do before scrap car tomorrow! (NA to TT)
hmm, but changing the looms looks a bit daunting! ive got the dash off, i dont mind wiring the electric fan seperate, to a switch or something. will the fuel pump work then with the NA loom at all?? or what?

last things i need to do before scrap car tomorrow! (NA to TT)
:confused:right, i thaught ive done everything, but people keep advising new things! my TT manual is being scrapped in the next couple days, and i want to make sure ive got everything off it. incase you dont know, the engine and box is going into a NA auto. things ive taken off/swapped: engine & gearbox ECU Fuel pump ive left the loom on the NA loom on the car. will the fuel pump work with the NA loom? ive read a post i need to re-wire the fuel pump or something? and also the electric fan nobody mentioned this when i enquired before, so im panacing a bit now  i dont want to scrap the shell and find out i need somehting else..

blitz dual sbc spec r any good?
probably just as good as the Greddy/HKS boost controllers, Blitz is one of the top makes :) think the Greddy profec is more popular tho. id love the Apexi AVCR, but thats a few pennies :)

Chipped ECU questions
can you elabatate on this more please? is the electrica fan on all the time usually? i can just wire that to come on all the time, sounds easy, what about the fuel pump tho? will the NA loom not tell the pump to turn on or something? or tell it not to provide enough fuel? how can i resolve that

Chipped ECU questions
the looms are the same, just the NA loom doesnt have boost solenoids, so it will always be on safety boost. when you fitt a electronic boost controller this overides that tho. so if fine to use the manual TT ECU, on the NA converted to TT, and also converted to manual

Chipped ECU questions

raced my girlfriends skyline
aww, i thaught she had a GTR then! the Z TT is surely a hell of a lot faster than the GTS-T?? (R33 RB25DET now, not the old R32 RB20DET) would have thaught them to be a tad slower than a GTR (R32/R33) but piss over a GTS

Got another Z, bit of a project thread il start
yea increased boost is a big difference in power increase, cant wait to see the difference on a 3000cc V6 TT, an 1800cc 4cl single T was rarther fun!

yes mate, same wheels, suspension, rear tailgate, engine & box, twin kakimoto exhausts, standard bumpers no skirts, same lights. hoping this one to be better, as theres no HICAS on the new one (as its NA), so lighter subframe, and the shorter ratio Diff. need an electronic boost controller, as ive kept the NA wiring loom, which will only give 7PSI/safety boost (think?) so shoule be a lot faster! was gutted when i wrote it off as i only drove it on 10PSI :( always remember when i turned the boost up from 10 to 15 on my S13, diffference was phenominal!

whats the wire coming from the clutch pedal?
im doing a auto to manual conversion, i have the clutch pedal and booster etc out of the car, but theres a wire/switch coming from it, and goes to the loom of the car? does this need to be connected when i put into the auto car? didnt see anything on the guides about it? and woudnt have a clue where to splice it on the loom of the auto car?

quite straight forward to be honest mate, theres a guid one here, but theres not that many bolts holding it down, and their easy to get at. the glove box took the longest, but read the guide and u know what ur doing. was a bit tricky removing the window de-mister without snapping it tho lol
