ive removed the re-circ PIPE from the standard valves, so the actuater pipe is still conected on the top, and the actual valve is still connected to the large pipe. is this the same as a dump valve now? is it venting to atmoss? or is the noise i can hear "goose honk/pigeon" and the recirc is doing nothing at all?

why dont you like the sound? its a turbo car its all part of it :smash:

i love the sound. purposly done it on my car (removed the re-circs) everyone deos it on the S14, its the sound of the air blowing back against the fins on the turbo. (like then you blow into a fan) theory is its not good (aparently)

do you pean the perspex? vynil is a thin sticker is it not?

its in an exedy box, with exedy waranty its not just one person in this country doing them. i also have another from the USA. (bought the NA version for my Twin Turbo :smash: its fine as is, hopefully itl hold out :)

no windows media player on the PC. thats where the option is to share the files? media centre is on the xbox, but it cannot locate the PC to conenct?

cheers SM1. does the box have to come off again to sort? or can it be done inside the car? or can i put something else inside to seal the noise out?

only thing ive noticed, is that the gearbox seems to be a bit more noisy/louder? can here more of it inside the car?? this common after a clutch change? its also had new gearbox oil etc

ive got a wireless router, installed to my PC. internet works great. on the xbox, it picks up the router. and i can go on xbox live :) however, it cannot locate my PC?? (i want to share media etc) if i go to media player, libruary, media sharing, the xbox is there, and i select allow, but the xbox just cant find my PC??? is there a alternate way i can pair the xbox to the PC? manually? or as the xbox cant find my PC, get my PC to find the xbox? please help! :o

had car back today, clutch has been slipping, for a good 3 months odd now. put foot down now, POWER everywhere!! wheel spin in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, sideways all the time, an iv got new tires on there!!! thaught something was wrong at first, difficult to pull off with out a judder. really gotta be carefull in the wet, an even more on the frost. PS car is just basic exhaust, filter, decats. cant wait for chip and boost up! cant imagine how terryfying its gonna be!

sorry, the standard re-citcs :tongue: anyway, heres a pic of the standard valve. the pipe you can see is the re-circ pipe, that you block off. then there is another large pipe at the bottom (can someone tell me where that pipe goes??) anyway thats where your new valve goes into.

that is if you are insallting dumpvalves on the intercooler pipes in the engine bay. the standard dump valves are underneathe the front nose panel, under the air filter.

well its my fault :( i sent them the item number for the NA clutch :( just to check, after you enter something on ebay you cant change the description can you??? i must have dont it in a rush! clutch for sale if anyone after a NA one, or il just sell it on ebay again. however the clutch plate still says Isuzu?? il try and get them with that? (unless they use the same plate for the Z and isuzu??)

not seen any sinlge pipe exhausts on Z, asume they obviously have a Y pipe by the catalyc converter, then out the left/right side of car.

they are classic JDM car :bow: and the Z is for that matter. love that whole japanese eara, early 90s.... FC3S, R32, Z32, silvia

yea but i think that was just an emissions problem. or maybe the development? the RB26 is just a legend of an engine, wasnt asif they had to change, performance wise. VQ38DETT in the new GTR is awsome, just dont know if it has the potential of the RB26. In regards to VG30 vs RB26, id have to go for the RB26, easier to work on, more performace bits, etc etc. im not sure performance wise how an R32 GTR would be against a Z (both stock) think the GTR is a little quicker?? (weight etc)

cant wait to get mine chipped and wack the boost up. frustrating me knowing cars an animal, yet im wasting it on 9 PSI :rolleyes:

haha cheers dudes. iv just been having a lesson from my dad (physics teacher) about ohms etc. got it now. for years tho, i was running a 2 ohm amp, powering a 4 ohm sub?? that wrong? was a single voice coil too :confused: lasted years, but was the amp not giving the sub what it needed?

Heres the amp: 104 watts RMS x 4 channel at 4 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + N 284 watts RMS x 2 channel at 4 ohms, 14.4V supply and ≤1% THD + N the sub is 2 ohm, 350w RMS

Sub is a 2 ohm Dual Voice Coil :)

thanks joe, the sub and amp are both 2 + 4 ohm i think? well, the sub says 2 ohm, if you wire the first 2 connectors, and it says 4 ohm, if you use the 1st connector and the 4th connector so could be 2 or 4 depending on connection???
