  2. joe, whats the difference in you way (using 1 channel of the amp, and bridging the sub) to the normal way, using the 2 channels of the amp, and the 2 channels of the sub? 1st and 4th terminal?
  3. thanks joe, but that diagram is only using 1 channel from the amp, then using the 2 channels on the sub? i have 2 channels available on my amp?
  4. lol, u sure now? heard it puts the amp under more stress :S also, i know how to wire it the amp side, (+ on the first channel, an the - on the second channel) but on my Sub, it has + and - then another + and - know i use the same princilap as the amp, use + on the first section of the sub, and the - on the second section. but what about the un-used ones? there is a wire factory fitted to them? (going from the unused - on the first section, to the unused + on the second section) heres a pic, you can see there are 4 conenctors, so for bridged more, use the frist connector, and the last connector but do the 2 in the middle need to be conneted to each other? dont know why there is a wire factory connected the 2 middle ones??
  5. the only plus of the NA, is that theres no lag, its instand power. but theres not much of it, especially for a big fat arse car :rofl: Twin Turbo, boost up, MUCH FASTER, MUCH POWERFULLER, i love turbo sound, not into rasppy NA

  8. ok. any benefits of not bridging it? my old sub was only using 1 of the channels, (not bridged) and that was real bassy like. so defo bridge it up yea?
  9. got a 4 channel amp (4x 100w RMS) its powering 2 6x9 speakers. i have the other 2 chanels free. i have a 350w RMS sub. shal i bridge the 2 channels for the sub? or shal i just use the 1 channel (and leave the other free) whats best? any benefits of either way?

  13. cant imagine a NA 300zx comparing to a Turbo S14. would probably be ok for you, but depends what you what the car for? if you just after a cruiser, yea its fine. but if your used to GTRs, S14s, i think the TT would be the way to go. i love the Silvia, will probably swap the Z for one middle of next year :x: (not tha dont like the Z, i have the TT, its fast :)
  14. ive been e-mailing them back and fore, they wanted to know the part number etc, theyv said sorry, they have also asked does it fitt :smash: time diffference is quite a bit from us to US so dont get replies til the evenings. ive bought the correct clutch today tho from here in the UK, its £12.50 more expensive, i can live with that tho. hoping they will just say sorry, and refund all my money back. they might let me keep the clutch?? as itl cost them more if they pay for me to return? its 100% their fault, so if they dont do it easy il have to threaten with official complaints etc. fingers crossed tho theyl own up :rolleyes:
  15. ive sent them a nice e-mail, explaining the situation, my details, what its goin to cost etc. i havent got time for them to wait til i send it back to them, then issue another, thatl be 2 weeks at least! wait for a reply tonight, buy one from the UK tomo, so at least the car be back :hyper: then hope for all my cash back. company is Speed Solution International, Inc but they trade as Gripforce clutches.

  18. didnt actually go thro ebay! in order to ship to the UK i said id just send them money thro paypal. ive e-mailed them, see what they say. it is an Exedy cluch, so reasonable quality. see what reply i get from them, will sell for cheap on here
  19. il buy one from this country the next few days, as cant wait to send the wrong one back to the US, then send me a new one. then hope they will pay the shipping/tax + the value of the cluch back to me. but i doubt it :( anyone want a NA clutch? its cost me £180, dont know what they worth? please someone take it from me, without ripping me off :cry:
  20. yea just remembered it cost $109 shipping here! so thats guna be the same again to return! it was their fault tho theyv sent me the wrong version?? maybe they wont pay the tax, but maybe the shipping? gutter man really not what i want at the moment :cry:
  21. thanks a lot mate! im in work now, will have to check the model number when im home. mechanic said was a couple of mm wrong, so im imaganing they sent the NA :cry: going to buy from the UK this time, hopefully theyl give me my money back after ive returned it. shud have bought from the UK, got charger £30 tax wen it arrived :(

  23. just had my car in the garage, mechanic fones me up, "theres a problem" clutch is the wrong size!! couple of mm out?? just checking, that all Z32 clutches are the same? i have a 1991 Z32 TT, jap inport. have i been sent an NA one? or Z31? or are they completly different size??
