Turning off email notifications?
Appears since the forum refresh, a default setting has been applied and I'm getting emails every time I'm quoted - I can't for the life of me find out how to turn that facility off? I've searched through all the tabs in profile settings etc. Any ideas as it's driving me bonkers!

The original Veilside demo cars had Veilside Andrews wheels and large bucket seats. I don't think this is an original, however I came across this - looks like a replica that blew its engine a while ago. Post number 12. Yours is almost certainly a replica. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?156107-Turbo-fitment&highlight=Veilside+Demo It could be related.- How long have you had your CURRENT Z for?
Not quite. We met a chap at the NEC who has had his since it was 2 years old. He'd had several and the first one he bought was brand new.- How long have you had your CURRENT Z for?
Get that car on the road dude! At least get in clean!! :)- How long have you had your CURRENT Z for?
Spurred on by another thread, I was wondering, from today's owner base, how long they've owned their CURRENT Z for? I am pretty sure AndrewG holds that record at 16/17 years. I'm now into my 11th year of ownership and continue to become more and more attached to it. So, how long have you owned your current Z? Votes are public - so everyone can see how long people have owned theirs. Whilst I got mine in 2005 (1 complete decade), I am now into my 11th year - so I have selected 11 for example- Who has my first 300
I still have my first! :)- Tyres
Out of all the tyres I've run on my Z, Pirelli P-Zero are without doubt, the very best I've experienced. The level of grip is just fantastic. So impressed with Pirelli P-Zeros that I've fitted them to my daily hack too. They're not cheap AT ALL, but they're excellent! Wear rate is 'ok', but that's not why I fitted them, I wanted exceptional grip and that's what I've got. :)- DONT look here unless you Really want to see a STARWARs Spoiler.

The answer was in his reply. Taxes on large engine cars in southern Ireland are utterly crazy. To tax a Z32 for a year is something close to 1000 Euro, thus, depreciation hits them harder than it does over here. Z32 is a specialist vehicle, so not sure it's affected in the same way, however something like an old luxo-barge will be worthless.- Jaikai - Fall & Rise of my purple zed
That's pretty good!- Jaikai - Fall & Rise of my purple zed
^^ you'd need some HUGE arch rolling exercise to fit those, the rears especially. That's a pretty good price to be honest. My 19s cost me nearly £3,000 by the time they were landed and duty paid on them.- MyHermes
My Herpies are useless. I went on their online thing to re-deliver a parcel on a designated day that I was in, as per their calling card instruction, yet they repeatedly tried to deliver on the days that I was out, 3 times and then I got a letter saying I need to come and collect it; their depot was about 45 minutes away. Useless.- Jaikai - Fall & Rise of my purple zed
....and worth every damned penny! There's no compassion between a quality forged wheel and a Chinese made monoblock. :) Stuff like this appears on Japanese Yahoo Auctions - mind you, I searched for a good few years before my BBSs came up!- Complete custom leather interior - 2 tone for series 1
Finally decided to go back to a stock series 2 interior for the time being (eventually the cloth seats will be re-trimmed by Mondo), so my current interior is now up for sale. This interior was fitted around 7 years ago, but it does not show. There's no signs of wear, markings, discolouration or damage. One of the clips inside the card securing it to the door frame has broken, but the door card still sits nice, flush and secure. The seat trims themselves were manufactured in the United States by leatherseats.com at which point I ordered a complete hide to do the door cards, rear quarters, and under dash assembles. The door cards, rear quarters and dash trim sections were all custom made by Krych Trimmers in Bristol at great expense! The seats themselves have charcoal bolsters with dove grey centres and dove grey contrasting double-stitching. This interior will fit series 1 vehicles with the seat belts on the doors. Naturally, this does not include carpets, chrome interior door handles, lever gaiters or steering wheel. Please note, there may be a bit of tooing and froing involved as I get various bits swapped over. Obviously this is likely to take place after the Christmas break. If anyone wants to view, I am located in Glastonbury (Somerset). I'm looking for £550 which I think is reasonable. I'd be looking for payment or part-payment before to secure.- Straight through crew?!
Paint is not waterproof. Paint is porous! You need wax on it to make it waterproof.- Red Z G Snob
That will be Kaza Steve's car. Good job that it's getting spotted as the car had been off the road for 2 million years! lol- Straight through crew?!
Can I just say Steve, your Z looks sooooooooooooooo much better with the red bonnet and smooth nose panel! Time for some new fog lights though!- chrome plating
Chrome plating what? If you're suggesting 3-stage, I assume alloy. Not many places do this. I am considering getting the lips on my BBS wheels polished and chrome plate - but it's hard to find somewhere that will take that on. You could try calling these guys, they're local to you http://www.quality-polishing.co.uk/metal-plating- Original japanese Engine sticker
Here's a very old photo of my engine bay - it did come with 2 stickers on the right hand side of the slam panel, one in silver, the other, smaller, in white. Unfortunately, most decals are now NLS, so you're unlikely to be able to find any now. - new toy im after any info on
