  1. Shows like this certainly help to boost the car's notoriety and instil enthusiasm. It's great to see people pop up who've met us at the show; makes it worth it! :)
  2. Hubert, I have 2 friends from Paris who also want to visit. They will be in a Silvia S14 or 350z.
  3. Thanks for the information Hubert. 1 x me (possibly 2) and 1 x car. I'll get together with Andrew and Joel to arrange our little group and if anyone wants to join, that would be cool.
  4. Hey Christophe! Merci pour la visite! I hope you enjoyed the NEC Car Show with Hubert! :) Nice to meet you also.
  5. As discussed, consider me 'in'! I'll meet you in Reims Hubert as I'll drive up from Caen or St.Malo!
  6. Steer clear of Plasti-dip. Horrible stuff and it won't last.
  7. That's because that's pearl yellow!!!!!
  8. Not a fan of the gold. Reminds me of crappy 1980s American cars. I'm sure it'll look fine though and glad you're getting the rust sorted: :)
  9. PS....this needs to go into the correct forum. This isn't Z related discussion.
  10. They're still in his garage on the workbench!
  11. Alas, no, but it's a fairly wide single. Not as wide as I'd have liked, but it'll happily swallow up a Z32 with some space around it.
  12. .... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272037709337?_trksid=p2057872.m2748.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Following AndrewG's purchase, he found this for me and I'm picking it up next week! It'll go in the garage of the new house once it's finished and I've completed on it! I'll either wire it up to the main lights, or to an electric garage door which I'll eventually fit, so it'll come on at the same time as either of those! I'll be tiling the floor, skimming the walls, fitting LED downlighters (it's an integral garage, so nicely insulated with a flat ceiling) and the Nissan logo at the back. Depending on how much space is left over will depend on whether I fit units at the back of the garage or not. Kinda like this - with no stuff on the side walls.
  13. This photo was posted up on a number of Z32 Facebook pages on the Saturday.
  14. We actually spoke about this car and I think Jaffa's race car would be a great car to have there! I'm not talking about proper race cars though - I'm talking about those hideous Max Power style bodkitted McDonalds race cars.
  15. Agreed, but having a historic racer there is a little different to having something like this there. :)
  16. LOL Steve! The show really isn't geared towards crazily modified cars covered in fibreglass and stickers (thankfully). If you want that, go to JAE or Japfest.
  17. I've never understood why people don't replace tatty looking plates. For the cost, they lift the car so much with fresh plates on them. I've seen plenty a clean car let down by really weathered plates.
  18. Thanks dude! Great to meet you guys! Hope your white Z will eventually be finished - like them all, they're an ongoing labour of love! Great to meet you Barry and hear your story of ownership, especially as you bought one brand new! Looking forward to seeing your black 14k mile UK car too once Jimmer has re-commissioned it!
  19. ^^ this! The plainer and the simpler, the better! No ugly fonts, no graphics, no silly strap lines, holograms, country flags or anything. Just totally plain.
  20. I for one am glad that we're the most highly monitored country in Europe after seeing the attacks in Paris. The more people there are watching those who wish to organise and elicit these hideous crimes, the more chance we have of attempts being foiled. By virtue of the high amount of surveillance in this country, 7 large-scale attacks have already been foiled. This has nothing to do with people's freedom, it has to do with the nation's safety.
  21. Glad you got back safely Hubert! Great to meet you and Christophe! We're glad you were able to spend some time with us and we look forward to seeing you guys in Belgium for the 2016 Spa Classic! :)
  22. Glad you're back on your feet Lee! Excellent news! Good luck with the new build mate! Whilst we all had a blast at the NEC this year, it really wasn't quite the same without you!!!
  23. That really depends on the design of the wheel at that size.
