Funkysi Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 .... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272037709337?_trksid=p2057872.m2748.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Following AndrewG's purchase, he found this for me and I'm picking it up next week! It'll go in the garage of the new house once it's finished and I've completed on it! I'll either wire it up to the main lights, or to an electric garage door which I'll eventually fit, so it'll come on at the same time as either of those! I'll be tiling the floor, skimming the walls, fitting LED downlighters (it's an integral garage, so nicely insulated with a flat ceiling) and the Nissan logo at the back. Depending on how much space is left over will depend on whether I fit units at the back of the garage or not. Kinda like this - with no stuff on the side walls. Quote
Sir Charles Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Very nice, glad you managed to find one in the end. Is your new garage a double? Quote
Funkysi Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 Alas, no, but it's a fairly wide single. Not as wide as I'd have liked, but it'll happily swallow up a Z32 with some space around it. Quote
Gaz 300 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 That will look great in your new garage Si. Quote

Sounds like the garage on my new house then. I told them I was not interested in it unless the garage is larger than most new builds these days. Mine is more like a 1.5. Very happy. Quote
Gaz 300 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) Good tip for garage walls where your car door opens. Fix these rubber floor mats to the wall so the car door will not get damaged. By the way they are useless for garage floors as they will deform with the weight of a car on them but good for walking on or standing at work bench. http://www.halfords.com/workshop-tools/garage-equipment/garage-essentials/rolson-6-piece-floor-mat-set-120-x-180cm Edited November 17, 2015 by Gaz 300 Quote

We don't actually drive the cars over them though Quote
