  1. I'd ditch the bearing in its entirety. A modification that was long overdue for me was a single-piece prop! The difference is incredible. Not only is the car smoother, but it feels more responsive and direct (to which it is). It's hard to explain, but I was really quite taken a back by the difference in feel that it gave the car.
  2. TAKE MY MONIES! Thank you and thank you. :)
  3. It'll be strange seeing that car gone from Jim's (I spend quite a lot of time there and it's become part of the furniture)! :)
  4. You should just take it to Jimmer in Bristol.
  5. The HD and system software are the same as the 350Z units and as such can be re-programmed so it's fairly straight forward.
  6. You're not the first to have issues with them I'm afraid. They're very 'hit and miss'.
  7. If it's coming from Japan, it's likely branded Carrozzeria. It is unlikely as head units are generally region specific, especially if it's Carrozzeria which is specific to the Japanese market only. The best thing to do is to take down the serial / model number and contact Pioneer UK. They might be able to add UK/Euro maps, but I am not too sure whether they'll be able to reprogram it to read in English. Expect to pay a lot of money though.
  8. Jimmer has a 1-piece SWB prop shaft in his workshop.
  9. R34 GTRs calipers are the same as R33 GTR calipers which I guess are also the same as R32 GTR V-Spec calipers.
  10. Before 2k came along we had acrylic paints. Cellulose wasn't used on manufactured vehicles after the late 50s and before that, enamel paints. Both of which are far more durable than cellulose. Cellulose is 'ok', but doesn't contain any UV stabilisers and is very prone to weathering and has low chemical resistance.
  11. Bugger! Forgot to find that mirror for you! I'll do it when I get home tomorrow!
  12. Apart from a few select vehicles, it looks like Ace Café meets have gone down hill massively. What it is with all those morons bouncing their engines off the limiters? It's as 'cool' as a bout of Gandhi's revenge. Never seen that green Z, looks a little 'orrible from what I can see of it though.
  13. My bad! Thanks for the correction. I imagine they're the same as the R33GTR and R34GTR calipers?
  14. I had converted some to LED on my Z. I've ripped them all out though and replaced the regular incandescent bulbs - they just don't look right IMO and make the car look like a cheap 'accessories' vehicle.
  15. That's quite a confusion. lol
  16. Your research is incorrect. R32 GTR calipers are not Brembo, they're Sumitomo.
  17. Nismo model? No such 300zx ever existed. There were only ever 3 models of caliper fitted to the Z32 and they were all manufactured by Sumitomo.
  18. As AndrewG has suggested, please post up photos of your calipers. Unfortunately we don't know what calipers you have and as such can't suggest which seal kit you'd need. Imagine they're either 350z or R33/R34 GTR calipers which use the same seal kits, but they could be from an Evo. Seal kits can be bought through http://www.biggred.co.uk
  19. Agreed, the very same!
  20. That number plate is the perfect size! :p
  21. With the amount of red paint it has on it and bolts missing, it's probably an old SouthWestZed engine!
