  1. Yes they were. For 1990 only. I don't know why as it's a fantastic colour. VERY rare now. However, one was in at PowerZed last week. 56,000 mile UK Z32 in pearl yellow.
  2. Just have! I was viewing it from my phone earlier from the London Underground, not easy at the best of times. Leaving the BBC studios during rush hour, had me looking one way and at the phone at the same time!
  3. Does look like a nice car. I don't actually like those add ons. The steering wheel is nice, but I've never liked those illuminated 1/4 windows. They're just a little too 'Tijuana brothel' for me and those wheels are miserable. Great car under that though, looks well cared for and straight. A very good buy.
  4. DEFINATELY count me in Howard for a TwinZ Type 1 spoiler. Let me know what you want doing moving forward.
  5. You don't need spacers dude. With 20mm spacers on the front, that'll give you an effective offset of zero and on an 8.5" wheel, it will mean you'll need more than a hefty tug to get them to fit. The rears will probably need a light roll with +25 on them. Are these wheels you've already got? You really don't need spacers with those specifications.
  6. I had Falken FK452s on my old wheels, they're ok as a mid-range brand. They last a long time, but at the detriment of grip, but they're ok. I certainly couldn't push my Z around the twisties anywhere near as well as I can with P-Zero. The difference is very noticeable.
  7. Eibach spacers are pretty much the best you're going to get. Remind me again of your wheel specifications.
  8. Dude, my one was at Jimmer's, if you'd have let me know then, you could have had it! I'm in London tomorrow, but can't get the roller from Jimmer now.
  9. Something like that! I run Pirelli P-Zero on both my cars and they're fantastic, the Z especially.
  10. Ones with tread....this is a very vague post. What are your requirements, are you tracking your Z? Does it have stock suspension? Are you after tyre size recommendations too? Do you use your car in the wet? :)
  11. ...and you're trying to restore a Z? :online2long: Good luck dude!
  12. You could always ask him. LOL You can probably get tinted plexi-glass, either that or there's a tinting spray you can use on the inside.
  13. You're better off waiting until you're over 21 I think. There are guys on here who have gotten insurance at 19 I think and it was very expensive. I think for classic car policies, you have to be over 21....iirc.
  14. Z32 is not an ideal first car I'm afraid! I'm surprised you even get quoted for on this type of vehicle.
  15. Only an additional £12 for me - I think I can cope with that! lol
  16. There are actually parts of London where they have parking spaces half on the pavement and half off. I can think of a few examples near Hounslow where that is in place.
  17. Get some new tailgate boot bumpers too. If they're old they'll be hard and compressed. It will aid the boot-popping process but also stop the tailgate from rattling around.
  18. Not with the Z32 it isn't. I've not known of one failing either here or stateside. Never seen or heard of it actually happen although it has been discussed as an old wifes' tale. There are PLENTY of Z32s running single piece props.
  19. I had a look at your wheels, the lip is recessed and looks near impossible to keep polished. Personally I'd have yours diamond cut and lacquered. My LMs have diamond cut rims which are lacquered. My old Advan Siena wheels were bare polished alloy and I used a 2-stage method. Firstly I'd polish them Autosol (which is quite abrasive) and then I'd finish off with a product called 'Briliant' which is a much finer solution. http://www.briliant.biz/products/Premium-Metal-Polish-.html I never drove it in the wet - maintaining polished wheels on a car that gets used in the wet is horrible. My LMs are maintenance-free pretty much although I do polish and seal them. I managed to keep a really deep shine on my Advans, but it was loads of effort.
  20. Realistically, however unlikely as I can't see myself ever selling the Z and I'm after a track car next - Lotus Esprit V8 Turbo. I know they're troublesome, but they look and sound so epic. Dreamwise - Lamborghini Aventador - probably the nicest looking supercar ever made IMO. It looks so utterly stunning from every single angle.
  21. The window door mouldings are around £80 each. If you're strapped, you're probably better off getting some second hand ones and refinishing them. Or refinish the ones you have if they're not split. Z32s do demand a big budget I'm afraid. Parts are not cheap by any stretch of the imagination.
  22. I like the parking one and the smoking with kids in the car. I think they should just ban kids completely!
  23. Thanks! What oil should I use for my car?
  24. Pleasure dude! :)
