  1. "No matter how stunning a girl may be, some bloke is bored of shagging her" Don't know the author of this quote......not me BTW :D
  2. I have all of those mods....apart from the rear strut bar. I do have the HICAS eliminator too. The car is NOTHING like before. It tracks true and takes corners as if it were on rails. The downside is a harsher ride - but maybe your roads are better than the farm tracks we have for roads round here. A good bet for Skyline brakes are the Skyline specialist garages (Middlehurst, Abbey Motorsport) as they are always upgrading the Skylines and often have a set of GTR specs available (mine were from Abbey). Good luck with it all...... Mark
  3. Is anyone going to this ?
  4. Just out of interest does anyone have a guesstimate of how much it would cost to ship a Stage 4 engine from Z1 ? Assume an engine price of about $12,000 with all the bits.... At the current £/$ exchange rates that seems like a lot of engine for the cost.....unless it costs as much again to get it here :) Mark
  5. Let me know how it goes with the car..... If you get everything sorted I may tag along if that's ok....... Mark
  6. Elvington track day on 6th August ? Are you going ? I was just contemplating another track day.....but it's along way for me. Would you recommend the place ? Cheers Mark
  7. Ditto ! I went to see it with my son - who's 18 (he paid) and thought it was excellent ! Mind you there were only about 8 people on the cinema......how do they make ANY money at all ? Having said that 2 Pepsi's and some popcorn was £12 FFS !!
  8. "three-day poisonous silences" Brilliant !!! I'm on the second day........... :D
  9. I used to know a joke about flying with BA......" I aint gettin on no plane fool..." but my alzheimers is getting bad these days :D
  10. I was just thinking the other day that we ought to have some kind of calling card that could be left on Z's if you see one parked up somewhere........ "Great minds think alike....... ...........and fools seldom differ" :D
  11. I realise that some of the comments made here about the language used on that site are humorous but..........the next generation of our little island will be growing up thinking that is the way it is. My daughter is 14 and her English teacher has been told to ignore spelling and grammar and look for context in her written work ! Suddenly 'dis' 'dat' 'dem' and 'de uddr' will become the accepted norm......God help us all !! Can you imagine sitting in an important business meeting with someone opposite you speaking like that and the notes or paperwork for the meeting written like that ? No !! That's why we will more and more find ourselves in a society where those who run it will come from backgrounds and schools that preached spelling and grammar etc and all the dogsbodies will be the f*ckwits who speak and spell this drivel !! We will have gone full circle over the course of 100 years or so....... Mark
  12. If you have a look on Unique Autosports web site in the Specials section.... http://www.uniqueautosports.com/ They have a second hand boot build that looks really discreet......... I doubt it would be worth shipping but gives a good idea of what's possible..... Mark
  13. As with many others....if I can help/contribute in any way I will. Mark
  14. Welcome back Baz !! Mark
  15. That looks fantastic ! Best colour choice :D Was it that colour when you got it or have you had it done ? Mark
  16. Just been out for a spin and got 'involved' with a guy in a black GTO. We eventually pulled over and got chatting. I have to say that he was a top bloke !!.......He's done £15k on his engine with the aim of producing 550hp. I have to say it was very quick.....and sounded pretty good too - powerflow exhausts with quad side exit tailpipes ! Twin TD05's and fully rebuilt lump.....he was awaiting an FMIC and some other stuff..... As an indication of his attitude to the car it was running nitrogen in the tyres - very stable under heat apparently. Just thought I'd share.........

  18. LOL yes mate...... Mark
  19. .....I should apologise for that outburst if I have offended anyone.......... Mark
  20. The local authority here - in partnership with that wonderful body TFL - are redesigning a major junction near where I live...... Every day I drive past and witness at least SIX 'workers' standing around looking at their shovels or on their f***ing mobiles - probably placing a few bets on the gee-gees !! It's symbolic of what has gone wrong with this f***ing place !!! You and I are paying for these lazy c*nts to stand there getting a tan !! The trouble is when it's public money going into something then there is no need to worry about time/costs etc. Honestly someone needs to get this place by the scruff of the neck and shake the sh*t out of it !!! Of course if you ask for details of the contract under which these robbers are working or how much it's costing or even when they 'guess' they might finish it all you are told is that it's confidential FFS !!!! And the cherry on the cake is that the junction worked PERFECTLY before they started to mess with it !! :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal
  21. There is soooooo much I would like to order but finances (my wife) suggest otherwise :D What are you getting ?
  22. Underneath the hard fuel lines on top of the plenum is a small rubber fuel line. Get a screw driver on the clips and make sure they are tight - do it when the engine has been running and the hoses are warm and flexible. In fact check and tighten all the fittings and you should sort it........ Hope that helps..... Mark
  23. I think they are so desireable !! Sooooo tempting - even at that price ($1150 IIRC) !
  24. I replaced mine with some braided hose and anodised fittings which was easy enough but it's worth noting that the hard fuel lines that you take out also include a vacuum line too.......which if you don't have some of can mean a long walk to your local motor spares shop to get some :)
