A really great event ! There were so many amazing cars there from every manufacturer ! LOTS of Skylines but sadly mine was the only 300ZX :-(

Hi everyone Just failed the MOT for a weeping nearside front shock. Can anyone point me to a source for OEM spec replacements ? I'm thinking it makes sense to replace as a pair too. Many thanks Mark

Whilst sitting here being nostalgic about my Z I started to wonder where some of the Zeds I remember are now ? Mac1 SMW1 A green car with a beautiful cream leather interior (I vaguely remember it was done by an ex-RR trimmer) The Beast John Something's 500ZX (with a Q45 in it) My own previous Z which was sold to Dave Carey - does he still have it ? Be interested to know.....please add others if their fate is known..... Mark

Hi everyone I'll be selling my car soon - ill health means I can't drive it anymore, but I couldn't leave the steering wheel as it was. Being a JDM model it had suffered in the sun and the leather had broken down and was beyond serviceable. I've just had it recovered by Simon at Hide N Seat. It looks amazing so thought I'd share a picture !! Great weekend everyone ! Mark

Unfortunately I must sell my car as I can no longer drive it - physical challenges sadly that won't get better. Not really driven much since Beaulieu July 2019. I don't know if anyone can post a picture of the cars there that day ? Looking on eBay there are some really punchy prices and I'm hoping that I can get some guidance on mine. Imported by me in 2009 it's a 1995 JDM auto. Not showroom but very nice. Always serviced by specialists and all the sills and arches done at Powerzed. Just passed new MOT. Any thoughts gratefully received. Thanks Mark

Hi i have a white 1995 JDM TT, current MOT, lot of work (sills, arches etc) and servicing done at Powerzed. Its an auto though. I imported it from Japan myself so only uk owner. It’ll come with an uncut titanium key, an unopened white TT Hot Wheels model and an untouched still in the box 1/10th scale 300ZX R/C shell (not the Stillen race car shape) from Japan that I’ve never got round to starting. I’m in Surrey if it might fit your bill-ish. thanks Mark

The lower bolster on the drivers seat and also I think the lower back of the same seat. I've seen Zeds with 350Z seats in a fair few times but wondered if it's that difficult to adopt seats from another car ? The seats in my Mrs BMW 1 Series are full leather (non-electric but heated) and pretty comfortable, and are low too. Would these go in a Zed ? My drivers seat has lost it's shape and I've been looking around. 300ZX leather interiors are like rocking horse s**t ! Can't afford a retrim at the moment. Merc E Coupes have some nice seats too and obviously much more modern. I would of course avoid electric controlled from the door and airbags.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I did a auto to manual on my last 300 but decided on auto this time as I was just looking for a chilled out drive in all situations. Jimmer I’m having real issues with random idle speeds but I haven’t had a chance with work being a bit insane to have a look at what it might be......the gearbox is sometimes (mostly) fine and changes like it should but other times will hold a gear far too long. Do you think they may be related ? Maybe it just needs a long run to get everything up to temp etc.

Hi All Does anyone have a Part No. for either the filter/sump gasket kit or alternatively the two individual parts ? My gearbox has started playing up and my first thought is to service it and replace the oil. If it's shot then I'll be going down the conversion route I think. Many thanks
