I got mine from the states but pretty sure they are over here too. The mounts and the crossover itself are like an rsj !!

There are two on Autotrader at the moment......both QV's one black with white leather and delivery mileage and the other white with white leather.........what a dilemma !!! Which one if the lottery comes up ? I know there will be people who say 'ugh' but they are fantastic examples of one of the most iconic cars of all time......just to own one would be amazing ! I've got Whiteline adjustable roll bars front and rear on mine. Got them from Demon Tweaks here in the UK. I've also got a front strut bar and fully adjustable coilovers all round together with full poly bushings. It was all done at the same time so I couldn't say if any one item made the difference but just to say that the car is PLANTED !!! I find it almost impossible to get the back out of line and there is no detectable understeer in the front at all......well worth it IMO. Oh yeah I also have a HICAS eliminator too. Mark

I heard on the radio that the EU is going to buy all the overproduced wine in the EU and then pour it away.........for a cost of £230m !! Thats £230m of our money !! WTF is going on ? Whatever happened to the European market and any semblance of a market economy - supply and demand ???? If nobody's buying it then why are they still making it ? Answer ? I managed to prise a MK III 3.0S off mate a few years ago for £250. It was a bit rough but went like a bat out of hell.....mostly sideways too :D :D When I'd had enough I put it up for sale and was inundated with buyers !! It turned out to be one of the very last 3.0S's.......went to some collector guy who was going to restore it. The funny thing was.......I promised to get the rear parcel shelf off my mate for him but after it was gone couldn't be bothered with all the hassle. He kept ringing and ringing and I kept avoiding his calls.......then some months later I found the locking wheel nut key under my stairs :slap: I suspect that was the reason for the calls.......... All valid replies guys but I'm talking about a car which has probably NEVER had the engine bay even wiped over with a damp cloth ! There had been a coolant leak of some sort that had sprayed the bay but was obviously such an historic event that it was permanent !! A shame :nono: as these cars are so great they should be treated as such.....

I went to the meet at the Ace Cafe on the North Circular in London last night and stayed until about 8.30. There were two other Z's there - Danny (CBR I Believe) and a red one too. Danny's was nice - Mania 19's, wing, re-trim etc (actually it reminded me of Geoff's car) The red one is the reason why our cars are worth fook all IMO. I don't think I have ever seen a dirtier engine bay in my life - and believe me I've owned some shitters in my life !! If you are going to take your car to a show at least have some pride in it and wash it !! If you are on this forum I must say that I'm delighted you own one but I don't understand the lack of appreciation of it. Maybe I'm wrong and missing the point altogether - if so I'm sorry. When you see all the MR2s, FTOs, Civics, Skylines etc gleaming and polished and looking brilliant anyone visiting the show/meet would think "300ZX" and "scruffy" in the same thought.......and thus the values fall even further. I'm not talking about spending fortunes on mod's etc just basic maintenance and cleaning. Sorry for the rant guys...........oh and if anyone knows the guy with the dark red Skyline GTS with GTR engine etc - top bloke. Met him at Bolney and again last night. Nice car too !!! Mark

I reposessed one in 1991 I think it must have been. It was a white 'H' plate car with leather and auto box and only 3 months old !! Since I was running the insolvency department of the bank at the time I got to decide where we stored it :D :D :D :D I managed to 'delay' the disposal for 3 months during which time I fell in love with it ! I did a check not so long ago and it's still 'alive' although not on this forum I don't believe. But as others have said, kids and mortgages etc got in the way of owning one until 1999 when I bought mine of an import garage in Ripley. Still love it today and although I don't use it much I still get a big kick out of owning and driving it. I was filling up in a garage the other day when a guy in his late fifties commented that it was a stunning car !! Mark

I know this is a 300 forum but........ Driving along the Hampton Court Way yesterday my eye was attracted to a blonde lady in a blue Supra. The car had a high rear spoiler and BBS-like wheels 18" I reckon. The lady......blonde hair and a lovely smile :D

Dave it's the CN Tower in Toronto. Good guess though. Oz is attractive for sure but a loooong way away and apparently almost impossible to get into if you're my age and not a billionaire ! Or a brain surgeon :)
