I saw some Brembo's on an auction site in Japan that said they were F50's (product code I think) for a 300ZX. Are his actually off a Ferrari or are they the earlier of the F50's ?

Hi all In a completely off the wall moment I wondered if it's possible or indeed if anyone has put bakes off a different manufacturer on a Z ? Maybe Porsche ? I was admiring the brakes on a Jag XKR in B&Q car park today (pretty sad I know) and they looked HUGE ! Mark

I'm off to Miami in October and will hopefully pick up these. $800 all in - seems like a fair price ? Anything else worth thinking about to help make the engine more responsive from a mechanical perspective ? Mark

I'm definitely IN ! I went to one a year or so ago and left a bit early to get some food....pulled into a layby to eat it and before I knew it there were THOUSANDS of Z's in a line behind me :dance: :dance: :dance: !! FANTASTIC sight !!!!! Mark (ok well it was probably about 25 Z's :D )

Hi Mate I replaced this with a new one from Nissan - £68. Really makes a difference as the old one had flaked away to nothing and looked crap. If I remember rightly it was just a couple of nuts and bolts on either side but you had to remove the interior trim to do it. Not difficult though. Mark

When I was looking for some alloys my local place said the only choice in the UK was Ace 130's or Hi-Octane 147's. I bought these Mille Miglia's from a guy on here and love them. It just goes to show that there's often more choice than at first appears possible. Good luck with your search Mark

Broke down on Saturday night. I pulled out of a car park and my nephew was begging me to 'do a burnout'. I was happy to oblige and promptly lit up the tyres. Deciding it was better to lift than take an excursion off into the Surrey countryside the car snapped back into line really violently...............and then died !! Everything seemed to work except it wouldn't fire. I thought perhaps there was an inertia switch like you get in the boot of Sierra's but Luke and Martyn both advised that there wasn't. AA eventually arrived and traced the fault to a lead shaken loose on the ECU !! So yesterday was spent softening off the new suspension as the guy from the AA reckoned the stiff settings had literally shaken it loose ! Mark
