I went to the Bahrain GP and the pace car (or whatever it is they call that thing - safety car ?) was a Merc SL. I don't know what one it was but it sounded EVIL - like it wanted to kill anyone brave enough to drive it ! What do we think of the side exit exhausts they have on the new McLaren Merc thingy ? Has anyone ever had them on a Z ?

Made by Buddy Club in Japan. Been offered a set for £700 - about the same as a set of HKS Hypermax II also up for grabs over there. Both are new.

Anyone heard of these ? Any reports or experiences ? Mark

I was surfing the Japanese Yahoo auction site. Actually there's loads of stuff on there - quite a few key blanks and loads of aftermarket stuff - Greddy, Trust, HKS etc etc....... I just might have to call one of my Japanese colleagues :D

I offered mine against a BMW M3 and they offered me £2k !! I still bought the M3 but I kept the Z :D Mark

And the filler plug is where ? Do I need to strip out the interior of my car to get at the top of the gearbox or is there a filler point somewhere ?

Ok so where is they both and are they easy to sort ?

How do I know if it's got any in it ? Apart from when it seizes :D

Can anyone help me ? I am at my wits end with my f'ing speedo. It works and dies on a completely arbitrary basis. The problem is every time the car is in for a service it's working and they can't find a problem - and then just as I get the damn thing home it stops working !!! I've noticed that if the first manouver in the morning is reversing (out of the garage for example) then it kills it but even then that isn't necessarily consistent. And of course when the speedo dies then very often so does the power steering - but not always :confused: All suggestions gratefully received :( Mark

The guys at Brands said no camcorders because they are a loose item in the car that could smack you in the head if you have an 'off'. Makes sense really. I was just reading the thread about the 350z for sale and there's a comment about the advert currently showing. I was wondering what you all thought the best ad was...... I'll kick this off by saying it was the Pirelli ad where the guy leaves his mountain home to find that his girlfriend has done his brakes. While he's fighting for control down a mountainside she's back at the house packing a suitcase. She opens the door at the sight of headlights only to drop her bad when she sees it's the guy she's tried to kill pulling into the drive..........Quality !!!
