Guys Mine are currently blue (enamel) but I'm thinking about getting them chromed or polished. Any opinions would be most welcome......... Cheers Mark

if it's a t-top make sure the roofs are sound - no cracks in the glass or rotten anywhere. Apparently they are like rocking horse sh*t and cost a fortune !! Same with the rear glass - and probably all the other glass too but I may be wrong :D

I was looking at a 928 S4 'G' plate for 10K ! I like them a lot and I suppose they're not unlike the Z. I know they were a lot new but so was my Z. It just seems that people are giving Z's away these days. OK so most of the Z's around now are getting a bit old but the build quality was second to none and put it next to a 'G' plate Escort and look how Ford's finest has faired over 13 years. Yet you won't pay much more for a Z now !! I know imports have given a lot of people access to these great cars (me included) but i'm starting to think they've f**ked the market totally - which is a shame. You've only got to reverse into a bollard and the insurance will write it off as the value is so low !! Rant over............................

Guys Does anyone know if these alloys (the five-spoke magnesium style) will fit a Z ? They are 7.5 front and 10.0 rear 18"s. Any thoughts on the style mix ? Cheers Mark

Guys Further to previous threads on this subject I was just checking Z1 Motorsports web site again and the 'Widebody' as they call it has been altered ! Now has indicators and the 'mouth' is very different. Not as nice IMO. Mark

Guys I just gave the Z some stick (in a sensible responsible way officer) and a short while later noticed that the boost guage is stuck on about +5.......... Any thoughts ? The car still drives fine - if a little ragged on the edge :D Mark

I've got one on mine. It's great. Lovely sound - not too loud and doesn't drone at speed. And it looks good too - four polished pipes out the back. HIGHLY recommended. I don't know how to post a pic but I think Stu - SMW1 - has got some. Also I was at Bolney and there was a pic of the back of my car there too (Skyline Blue Z) Mark

I changed mine to Bayside Blue which is the colour on the R34 Skylines. SE Nissan did it for me and they said the paint alone was £1+K. Re-spray cost £2.7k - not including the engine bay which would have been another £1k.

$3000 for the whole kit apparently. The guy I spoke to was very nice but did agree it was expensive. He said the kit was a Paul Bailey copy manufactured by a company in the US called 'V12'. I've tried to find them but no luck. I'm in Florida next month so I'll ask in the performance / tuning shops. Are we sure the nose is just digitally altered ? It does look damn good - although as mentioned before by someone - the first speed bump and it's history. Mark

I gave Luke at ZCentre a catalogue of stuff you can get in Japan for our beloved Z. One of the parts was a 6 speed HKS gearbox. £4500 if my memory serves me. PS I have a manual box available if you're interested.......... Mark
