Did anyone go ? It took me 5 HOURS to get out of the car park. FFS !!! It was the most badly organised INTERNATIONAL EVENT I've ever been to !! I had a Capri :D It was one of the very last 3.0 S - spec models. Dare I say it but it was bags of fun. Not unlike my Z in that it was a coupe, rear wheel drive, 4 seets, PLENTY of oversteer on demand and for the fun it gave me pretty good value too. I know they have a terrible rep but not always deserved IMHO. Mark

I'm collecting the box from Silverlake on Saturday. Since it comes with the ancilliaries I want to keep that one. The other is from a guy called Ken at ZXS. He was recommended by 'Top-less'. He told me it was straight out of a driver and sound. Although there is no warranty as such he did assure me that if any problems then money back. I gave £450. Not looking for any profit. Was it Bayside Blue with a big spoiler ? Standard alloys ? Tinted glass all round ? My son is dark but he bloody well shouldn't be driving it !! Especially as he's only 16 !! :D Let me know when you're next around Surbiton and the sun is shining. I'll meet you for a beer. Mark

There are some 19"s on ebay in the States that I think are just to die for. I have a mate who works for American Airlines that might be able to sort me shipping etc. What are the implications for suspension then ? And any other issues like body clearance ? Cheers Mark

Guys Whose is the blue car with the Wings West spoiler ? My car is almost EXACTLY the same !! Same colour and same spoiler !! I thought it WAS mine for a minute !! The spoiler is available from Motorsport International in Marden KENT. 01622 749980 - top guys. Mine is the same but with a light fitted. You can see it in Gio's pics of the last Bracknell meeting. Andy Did you happen to notice an alloy wheel on the wall in Ken's workshop. It was a multi-spoke job in smoke chrome ? What do you reckon ?

Ken reckoned it was sound. And sitting on the bench it seems to select all gears comfortably (not a great indication I know but....) I'm seriously happy to hear someone of your standing is aware of/uses Ken. A mate of mine said I must be crazy to buy something like this from a place like Ken's. But honestly there's not a lot of alternatives - and he seemed like a pretty genuine guy. And an enthusiast. So I like him. And there was a guy there who does flooring for a living but also knew his stuff - nice guy. He fished out a spare centre console (radio housing) which was a result and Ken also had a working antenna which was a right result !!! £50!!! Nissan wanted something like £300 !!! Are you out his way too ? He mentioned a meet at a place called The Halfway House (?). Have you been ? Mark
