  1. http://www.z32-zone.com Great site to surf for bits and pieces......if you can forget it's all in Japanese ! If you just follow hot-spots on any given page it usually leads to goodies that wll make you think 'Oooh I want one of those' ! Well it did for me :) Apologies of this site has been posted before....... Mark
  2. Absolutely cant wait :hyper:
  3. Hi Gary Yes its done 50k with full history which is about 3,500 miles per year. It has a strut brace but dont know what else other than what you can see in the pics. Mark
  4. I agree !!! I'm only down the road from you in Surbiton so we'll have to meet up at Box Hill over the summer. In fact there used to be a few meets there and certainly a staging post for runs to the coast....... Mark
  5. Thanks guys. It's this car http://www.bestjapancar.com/nissan31112.htm I guess I'll have to wait till I get it to really be able to make any decision.....but comments much appreciated. Mark
  6. Hi everyone My car will be arriving from Japan at the end of this month hopefully so I was wondering what if anything I will need to do to it. De-limit the speed ? Do I have to since I'm an old guffer now ? Adjust the mileometer to reflect the mileage in miles instead of km's ? How ? UK clocks ? (What's the difference ?) Other things ? Is it the act of de-limiting the speed that changes the mileometer to read miles ? Cheers Mark
  7. Back in the day when I did 'asset recovery' we had a Merc SEC500 with F1GHT on it. Sadly for the guy the court said it was part of the car so he couldn't have it back........
  8. Ooh one other question......... Does anyone still do the headlight chroming that I seem to remember from a few years ago ?
  9. Where can you get the inserts ? I didn't even know they made such a thing !
  10. According to the guy I'm chatting to assures me they are genuine but yes they look a bit rough. Does anyone have a link to Nissan's own parts website in Japan ?
  11. Works out at about £650 which is a lot I realise but all reports are that they are great...... http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h128701671 Mark
  12. Thanks for all the positive comments guys. I cant wait to get back behind the wheel ! Am for sure gonna get the blue led dash conversion done though - love that electric blue look.......its almost Bayside Blue :)
  13. Looks great - especially with the sun glinting off the alloys ! I really do think that when they penned the Zed's lines it was one of those times when they got it spot on in every way.......like the E-type, Aston DB5/6& 9. I'm sure there are many others but in terms of style, performance and value its very hard to think of another car that can compete ! Alright I know the lights are sh*t but they still look good - so good in fact that Lambo had them on the Diablo (unless I'm mistaken which is entirely possible) Mark
  14. I guess I will need to tweek the sat nav etc for UK/Europe but hopefully I'll find a local ICE place that can help. Thanks for the tips for our trip.......only concern is the petrol :-) Thanks Gary - its miles but has full history too to back up such a low figure - which I'm guessing isn't so unusual mileage in Japan ? Matt - I know I know ! I took my previous car to Brands Hatch when I got it converted so I'm hoping I got it out of my system ! Fancy a cruiser and white is DEFO the best colour for the summer...........pulls the pin and runs like hell :)
  15. Its an auto.......which I had before in my last one then converted to a manual........dont get me thinking :nono:
  16. Well I'm not sure I like the interior trim - I actually like the Series 1 tweed :-) I think I'm a bit old now to do too much - so will probably keep it pretty much as it is - maybe some new brakes as I remember my old Z was poor in that department so I replaced them with Skyline GTR Brembos that I managed to find....might just do that. They tell me 6 weeks so in time for summer. I promised my son a road trip to Monaco which should be fun !
  17. Its a 95 model with 99 spec rear lights, alloys and tv/navigation system installed. Also its got a front strut brace which the dealer didnt mention when I asked him for a list of mods....so not sure what else. Its a one-owner with 50k on it with full history and no damage ever. I'm assured its absolutely mint ! Yeah it does lol :-)
  18. Finally decided to get another one after too long dreaming so here she is.......... :hyper: Mark Ps guess I'll have to subscribe when it gets here !!
  19. Can anyone tell me if its a simple swap to replace the airbag steering wheel (which I dont really like) with the Series 1 wheel ? Thanks Mark
  20. One of the pages is a series of pics showing the creation of the car - a lot of work !!
  21. I always thought hese were impossible to get but maybe not......... scroll down the page when you open the link. JPY19,500 is about £150. http://www.zcar-owners.net/cgi-bin/import/importparts.htm Mark PS Promise not to post any more Japanese pages :-)
