I agree !!! I'm only down the road from you in Surbiton so we'll have to meet up at Box Hill over the summer. In fact there used to be a few meets there and certainly a staging post for runs to the coast....... Mark

Japanese import
Hi everyone My car will be arriving from Japan at the end of this month hopefully so I was wondering what if anything I will need to do to it. De-limit the speed ? Do I have to since I'm an old guffer now ? Adjust the mileometer to reflect the mileage in miles instead of km's ? How ? UK clocks ? (What's the difference ?) Other things ? Is it the act of de-limiting the speed that changes the mileometer to read miles ? Cheers Mark

shit/drab/mundane cars with expensive/private plates.
Back in the day when I did 'asset recovery' we had a Merc SEC500 with F1GHT on it. Sadly for the guy the court said it was part of the car so he couldn't have it back........

I am tempted by these........
According to the guy I'm chatting to assures me they are genuine but yes they look a bit rough. Does anyone have a link to Nissan's own parts website in Japan ?

my zed at Titanic Quarter Belfast
Looks great - especially with the sun glinting off the alloys ! I really do think that when they penned the Zed's lines it was one of those times when they got it spot on in every way.......like the E-type, Aston DB5/6& 9. I'm sure there are many others but in terms of style, performance and value its very hard to think of another car that can compete ! Alright I know the lights are sh*t but they still look good - so good in fact that Lambo had them on the Diablo (unless I'm mistaken which is entirely possible) Mark

Very excited - new Z on its way !!!
I guess I will need to tweek the sat nav etc for UK/Europe but hopefully I'll find a local ICE place that can help. Thanks for the tips for our trip.......only concern is the petrol :-) Thanks Gary - its miles but has full history too to back up such a low figure - which I'm guessing isn't so unusual mileage in Japan ? Matt - I know I know ! I took my previous car to Brands Hatch when I got it converted so I'm hoping I got it out of my system ! Fancy a cruiser and white is DEFO the best colour for the summer...........pulls the pin and runs like hell :)

Very excited - new Z on its way !!!
Well I'm not sure I like the interior trim - I actually like the Series 1 tweed :-) I think I'm a bit old now to do too much - so will probably keep it pretty much as it is - maybe some new brakes as I remember my old Z was poor in that department so I replaced them with Skyline GTR Brembos that I managed to find....might just do that. They tell me 6 weeks so in time for summer. I promised my son a road trip to Monaco which should be fun !

Very excited - new Z on its way !!!
Its a 95 model with 99 spec rear lights, alloys and tv/navigation system installed. Also its got a front strut brace which the dealer didnt mention when I asked him for a list of mods....so not sure what else. Its a one-owner with 50k on it with full history and no damage ever. I'm assured its absolutely mint ! Yeah it does lol :-)
