Oh ok.....dont really want to get into fabrication and the like so not for me.

There is currently on e*ay a set of Wilwood brakes with 345mm discs etc for what seems like a reasonable price. Does anyone on here have Wilwood brakes ? And other feedback would be much appreciated as I've never felt the standard set-up was quite good enough and these seem like a strong alternative for the money. There's also a full 350z Brembo set-up front and rear for £700. Are these a direct bolt on replacement on our cars ? Cheers Mark

Hi I've been reading an interesting piece on 300ZX.ORG.UK about making rear lights act as fog lights. The author is Mark W. Can anyone recommend a specific relay ? A Maplins part number maybe or RS Components part number ? Here's hoping..... Thanks Mark

Thanks Ian At least I know its a Series 4 ! If I get a set of UK clocks I'll have a dead boost guage which will mess with my mind every time I look at it and think something's broken :) So not sure about that. I guess it'll have to be a converter - maybe Zcentre's one. Good news about the fog lamps - didn't really want to have something hangiing under the rear bumper !! Got some work to do this weekend now........ Mark

Hi all Picked up my new Zed (new import) without really thinking too much about the consequences. Realise I need a speed converter but will I need a UK dash or can I simply get a new speedo face (one on ebay maybe) ? My speedo doesn't have a boost guage. Is this normal for a 95 model ? It's definitely a TT :) Does anyone know if it's ok to use the central brake light in the perspex strip on the bootlid as a fog light ? Would this be a simple wiring job ? Perhaps it would be easier to hand the car over to a recommended specialist ? In Surrey maybe or nearest ? All thoughts very much appreciated. Mark

Picked up my car today from the docks :hyper::dance::dance::dance: On my way home - almost home actually - and pull up next to another white Zed on a 'W' plate !! Beautiful car with graphite R34 GTR alloys. Only inconsistency was the early spoiler (Series 2 or 3 maybe). Is this the latest plated Zed ? Wish I'd snapped a pic or two !

Hi all My Zed arrives from Japan in about a week (VERY excited) so what I need to know is what needs to be done to make it appropriate for the UK ? And who can supply me with the parts/expertise I may need ? The only thing I can think of is converting the speedo. Where can I get the necessary bits or can anyone recommend an expert ? HKS did a 6 speed box for the Z32. I once gave Luke at Z Centre a catalogue from Japan that had it in......IRC it was about £4k so not cheap. Mark

Hi guys Having once done an Auto to manual conversion and now not being either rich (it did end up quite expensive I thought) or so in need of a manual gearbox, I've been thinking about the ESS Racing Shift At Will kit that might satisfy those occassional urges for pretending to be Jensen Button in my new Z :) It seems to offer the best of both worlds - boulevard cruising which I think these cars look soooooo good doing and more boisterous driving ! Does anyone have the second generation kit on their car ? Do any of the traders on here stock it ? Thanks Mark

It was always my understanding that these weren't available from Nissan anymore. Can you get them after-market somewhere ?

I've been thinking about a silver on black rear number plate for my Z as I think it might look better on a white car. The DVLA website says they are ok on pre-1973 (I think) but there are plenty of much newer cars round here wearing them. Any thoughts guys on legality and style choice ? Mark
