Hi I had lifter tick, rebuilt all the lifters and when I started the car the first few times it was perfect, now I have a bit of lifter tick back so think a couple need changing, very long tedious job depends how confident you feel, you can try a few oil changes.

It would still plug into the cluster connectors so nothing would change. You would just have multiple screens, dials whatever you wanted it’s just programming.

Hi In the end I did have to pull my engine, but that was for an oil leak, I had sports cats fitted, I was advised that getting rid of the cats will put more force through the turbos and if they are worn might kill them prematurely.

Hi they use the same wire for lights, have an external switch for blue\green colour. I can’t find any pictures of them at night at the mo. I will look for the pictures. www.visual-performance.co.uk

Could also look at injector wires, coil pack, PTU and MAF connectors for corrosion. My car did that.

After 10 years I would not be starting it just to put on a trailer, there are too many things that need to be checked first. Use a car to pull it onto the road, trailer needs a winch. Welcome to the Club
