  1. I have missed racing, I will be glued to the TV this weekend, watching F1 F2 and even F3. ?
  2. I have a spare UK speck complete window mechanism and motor, also a passenger door. If you need depending on where you are.
  3. Not had a chance to drive the car much, battery died the other day so new one has been installed. I noticed an oil drop where I park the other day, so my nice clean engine and gearbox is covered. On investigation it looks like the rear of the left hand intake cover, extremely hard to see. I did not replace the crush washers so hoping it’s going to be that. Having deleted most of the plenum stuff should be an easy pull, apart from the stupid clips on the injectors. I still have to change the LH O2 sensor. Diag from the other day Purchased a new battery for my laptop so will log data next time I have a long run.
  4. Welcome to the club, good luck so glad another one is going to be saved.
  5. I was under the impression that you have to put a uk speed drive gear in the gearbox to convert odometer to Miles.
  6. Mine is a 1991 it’s under fog light support bar just above the red hose hanging down.
  7. Very true how long do you think rubber can last, supposed it depends on how a car was stored, used and what part of the world for imports.
  8. Does anyone know how much rubber pipe is used between the fuel tank and the hard lines under the car and why it is not mentioned with fuel line replacement. Thanks ?
  9. RIP Vera Lynn, great life and an amazing 103
  10. That’s what I did
  11. Jimmer had a spare so I bought it last year.
  12. Glad it helped, I recently had the engine out and replaced all fuel pipes with later type spring clips. New Nissan fuel regulator and dampener but still could be faulty, will check.
  13. We had a good sniff under bonnet, had the car on ramps at the back, no luck looked at top of fuel pump rubber looks old so will change them. The only detectable smell was from the exhaust, they are black inside but do smell of petrol.
  14. Yes still have carbon canister, will check fuel filler pipe. It is a vapour smell as you get filling from the petrol pump.
  15. Hi I have a fuel smell but it’s only when the windows are open both or either. No smell from heater vents, air con not really working but in this weather having to have the windows shut like being in a greenhouse. Where should I start looking, all fuel pipes under bonnet have been changed with new clips, new fuel cap as well.
  16. Happy Birthday ?
  17. Welcome to the club, wish you well in your search, good choice.
  18. Happy Birthday ?
  19. I know what you mean, when using side lights in the day everything dims for night view. You can’t see the clock or some other things. It’s to do with a relay on the lighting system.
  20. Happy Birthday ?
  21. Congratulations
