  4. Hi today with the help of my brother we managed to take the fuel vapour vent line check valve out, it was hidden above the rear Hicas lines, black round Unit, bit rusty up there but that will be done another time. We tested it and air passed through it both ways very easily, so we cut the end off and expanded the spring inside, glued it back together Tested it again and it worked would only pass air one way, fitted it back and started the car, revs went to 500 then back to 850 but a bit rough also stalled when I stopped reversing, tomorrow will take it for a drive then plug the Conzult in. Being a NLA part I will have to find a different one from another car.
  5. Have you tried http://www.bearingshopuk.co.uk/

  10. There’s always one misfit ? You happy with the Aston Si
  11. Aftermarket silicone hoses are a lot cheaper than OEM, I still had to get a kit from USA, but I did delete most of the little hoses at the back of the engine and under the plenum.

  13. Sure was extremely hard to predict, next race who knows.
  14. I have missed racing, I will be glued to the TV this weekend, watching F1 F2 and even F3. ?
  15. I have a spare UK speck complete window mechanism and motor, also a passenger door. If you need depending on where you are.
  16. Not had a chance to drive the car much, battery died the other day so new one has been installed. I noticed an oil drop where I park the other day, so my nice clean engine and gearbox is covered. On investigation it looks like the rear of the left hand intake cover, extremely hard to see. I did not replace the crush washers so hoping it’s going to be that. Having deleted most of the plenum stuff should be an easy pull, apart from the stupid clips on the injectors. I still have to change the LH O2 sensor. Diag from the other day Purchased a new battery for my laptop so will log data next time I have a long run.
  17. Welcome to the club, good luck so glad another one is going to be saved.
  18. I was under the impression that you have to put a uk speed drive gear in the gearbox to convert odometer to Miles.
  19. Mine is a 1991 it’s under fog light support bar just above the red hose hanging down.
  20. Very true how long do you think rubber can last, supposed it depends on how a car was stored, used and what part of the world for imports.
  21. Does anyone know how much rubber pipe is used between the fuel tank and the hard lines under the car and why it is not mentioned with fuel line replacement. Thanks ?
