  4. I watched a car show on Turbo tonight called JDM Legends, they were finishing a 240z for someone and converted it to 3 Webber carbs, the problem was they were above the exhaust so he made a stainless steel panel to go under the carbs and covered the bottom in gold tape, he said if NASA use it it must be good.
  5. I just stripped both and copied the configuration, made 1 mistake but sorted that. And put it under nose panel .

  9. Would look really nice on an engine stand next to the car at the NEC, or on video to show a highly modified engine.
  10. RIP Anthoine Hubert was very talented, such a shame
  11. Just as I suspected and hoped, my front oil leak was from a crack in the pump casting, you could not tell from the outside but I knew what I had tried and just made more sense than the seal not being installed correctly, should have just cut the cog off instead of trying to pry it, lesson learned the hard way but that’s life.
  12. Can’t believe how time fly’s today was my first free day to get back to the car, built engine stand, then had to take my mums car for MOT, thank god it passed so I have some transport. Engine now on stand ready for oil pump change , rear crank seal then put everything back together with new gaskets.

  17. Both sides stripped down, all nuts came off but not taking any chances, I have a new kit for manifolds and turbos. Bit of a mess at the rear. God did it rain today so glad I bought a heavy duty tarpaulin yesterday, no chance of getting engine stand out.
  18. Cheeky little ******** I was thinking great I have gotten away with it. No play looks good Then drivers side.
  19. Finally parts have arrived, but I’m sure I will find more that I need. Built engine hoist yesterday. Finally got the engine out, will start the strip down tomorrow, after a good clean up.
