Second hand parts market
One of two reasons - either because they have an issue with the forum itself, or because they don't have to pay £20 to sell parts on Facebook. That's the simple truth.

Help finding a 300ZX for a magazine feature
After Joel was telling me about his £3k repair bill from his last magazine shoot, I'm not sure he'll be in a hurry to take part in another... :pinch:

Recommended garages in East anglia area
It's one of those necessary evils when it comes to owning a relatively complicated, specialist car. Unless you're handy with the spanners yourself, of course.

Recommended garages in East anglia area
I'm up near Newcastle and I've travelled to both Powerzed and LA Autos and they're possibly the most worthwhile journeys I've made in my life! Lee Dent is about 4 hours away from me and Jimmer is at least 4.5 hours away. As Steve172cup has recently discovered, these cars need a specialist - he trusted his usual mechanic (who specialises in Cosworths) to change his timing belt. Not only did he pay over the odds for the work, but his belt was a tooth out too! He took it to Mr Dent after this and now his car's a peach instead of a lemon. If you're going to buy a Zed, be prepared to take it to a specialist. Simple as that. Steve had the same point of view as you; that the two guys above were both too far afield for him... he's learned his lesson the hard way now!

Attention Znut!
I know Znut was asking about his old car not that long ago. Want to buy it back, fella? Here's your chance! :thumbup1:

Good evening from a newbie
You'll be paying a decent price for that privilege. Most of the imports now seem to either be 94-95 or, very occasionally, 98-99. The latter, obviously, cost more.

What did you do to your zed today?

Wiring Specialities looms - opinions?
As far as I can see, the Z1 looms are Nissan originals. This is all just based on a conversation I had recently. As mine is currently unfitted, I have no issues but I just wanted to find out peoples' views and whether there were any issues.

Wiring Specialities looms - opinions?
Following on from Richie's group buy last year, I'm now the owner of a brand new engine loom. :) Having spoken to someone recently about things, they're of the opinion that the WS looms are cheap Chinese things! Apparently the connectors are prone to breakage and the insulation unwinds itself after 6 months or so.... :( Has anyone who has one of these fitted got an opinion please? Whilst I've no doubts it'll be better than my current 25 year old Nissan loom, I don't really want to fit it if I'm going to have significant issues further down the line...
