  1. I've recently changed my front brakes to this setup, but I'm now going to be changing them again so this kit is up for grabs. The Brembo calipers are from a Nissan Sentra Spec-V and, unlike the 350Z Brembos, these use a 12mm bolt so they bolt directly to the Z32 hub with no modifications whatsoever. :) I very recently had the calipers thoroughly cleaned, blasted and then painted in Candy Red. I replaced the Brembo decals as well. The pistons are in superb condition and I replaced all the seals before fitting them to my Zed last week. I'll fit a brand new set of stainless steel bleed nipples as well. The discs are 320mm in diameter and I think 28mm thick. The discs are lip-free, although they had been stood for quite a while before I fitted them - I cleaned them up front and back before fitting, but they may well benefit from a skim. The brake lines are brand new from HEL and have only been fitted for 5 days. Since being fitted on November 22nd, this kit has covered less than 20 miles. So you get 2 freshly painted and rebuilt Brembo calipers, 2 discs, 2 sets of pads, 4 new stainless bleed nipples, all the associated clips and pins, 2 HEL brake lines - everything you need to bolt these onto your Zed and be on your way. :) Why am I changing them? They look a little lost behind my 19s so, for purely aesthetic reasons, I feel I need something a little bigger. That's all. I'm taking a huge hit on these but that's just my bad luck. Looking for £475 including UK mainland delivery. Please be aware that this kit won't be off the car for a couple of weeks so, if someone wanted to secure everything with a deposit, that's absolutely fine.
  2. Is that flywheel mine or yours, Richie?
  3. That's a lot of money for some calipers and a pair of super-scabby discs. Although they have been in my watch list for a while now.
  4. We come to that time of year again where I need to start drawing up some plans for this car for 2017. Having spent a considerable (to me) amount of money on her this year, I think I need to tone things down a little. So this is as far as I've got: New wiring loom to be fitted New RPS flywheel, compatible clutch and 350Z clutch fork kit to be fitted Powdercoated plenum, balance bar, water pipes, intake hardpipes and throttle spring covers to be fitted New targa trims to be fitted Rear Brembos to be sourced and fitted Crankshaft rear oil seal to be investigated (probable source of oil leak) New intercooler ducts to be sourced or fabricated Thorough cleaning of the engine bay! Those are pretty much the definites. Here are the "hopefully" items... Rear subframe and diff - complete refurb Kaminari rear spoiler sourced and fitted Dashboard repaired (slight lifting around vent) and possibly retrimmed Another respray! I think the last item's a bit of a pipe dream, to be honest. The Kaminari wing is doable, although it's going to be a fairly expensive item once shipping, tax and painting are thrown into the mix. I'm sure more things will come to me once I give things some proper thought, but I reckon that's a decent list to be getting on with for the time being.
  5. 220 Euros per side before shipping for rails to fit Recaro SR seats. That's still pretty costly!
  6. They do. Looks like that firm have started producing their own subframes due to the rarity of the original ones.
  7. You know exactly what I'm on about...
  8. Lee will look after you, Steve - he's a super-fair guy and he's very passionate about these cars. :thumbup1:
  9. Like the PM that you shot to Jeff before, perhaps....?
  10. Drop me a line at enquiries@hidenseat.co.uk and we'll sort something out for you, Jake :thumbup1:
  11. Richard's post shows what the factory finish would pretty much have looked like when the car was brand new. The leather would have a matt or satin finish to it, in keeping with the plastic used on the centre pad. As the leather wears, it starts to go all shiny. That's the surface finish being worn away as the wheel passes through your hands day to day. 80s/90s Japanese leather is notoriously poor quality. Even the hide they use in the 350Z and 370Z is pretty ropey stuff and starts to wear pretty swiftly.
  12. Your black badge is actually a broken badge, to the best of my knowledge. :thumbup1:
  13. That would be me. I do have a spare wheel here, but it's not retrimmed at this point in time. :)
  14. You need a 27mm spacer to successfully cover the studs in the car's hub, mate. Alternatively, just take a spacer and the wheels to a machine shop and have them drill 5mm - 10mm recesses in the mounting face of the alloy (using the spacer as a template). That then allows the excess on the ends of the hub studs to not foul on the mounting face. :thumbup1:
  15. Let me get this clear in my own mind here: you're honestly telling me that you didn't type all that punctuation that I've just quoted from you? You've got issues, chap.
  16. I think it's you.....
  17. Somebody needs some new punctuation keys for their keyboard...
  18. Who's got odd headlights...? It'd better not be me....
  19. I swapped mine for the S2 pod and ECU and it's loads better!
  20. This is basically my fault, Stephen. I advertised them as being 350Z discs, which is why Dave was of the impression that they'd match his new calipers perfectly. It was only when I got one off the car last week and measured it that I found out that they're actually 345mm in diameter. Having done some research online last night, I think my kit may have been supplied by DB Power originally, as they (he?) seemed to offer the three sizes that were mentioned on the fitting instructions that mine came with. Whether I still have those instructions or not is a different matter... I'll have a look today.
  21. I don't know anything about that car but, as I'm in County Durham myself, I'm more than happy to help out with any advice you might need. :) As long as it doesn't specifically pertain to that yellow Zed...
  22. Not a guarantee, but it might be a reasonable match. You're not going to be able to get an exact match, I'm afraid.
  23. I'm selling my braided front flexi lines as I have to replace them to use the Brembo calipers. I believe they are from Technafit. I bought them from AndrewG a couple of years ago and have had precisely zero issues with them. They're the long ones in the picture. The rears are staying fitted to my Zed for the time being, whereas the fronts are being removed this coming Tuesday. £28 delivered to your door.
