  1. Guess I'd better add some pictures of my own to this build thread, eh? :) One steering wheel, trimmed back to OEM spec. And also: Handbrake and matching gaiter, again both back to just how Nissan intended! I just have some rear speaker covers to do and then everything can be sent back to Graham :thumbup1:
  2. Well, a possibly sad update to this thread - nearly 2 months on and I still haven't received the OP's original steering wheel in exchange for the retrimmed one I sent him. :( He said he was going to send it in December, and then radio silence. I've sent a couple of emails in the last month and had no response whatsoever. Looks like I'll have to start asking for security deposits for exchange items from now on, unless it's people I know well!
  3. Well, this is interesting. Lest we forget here that the issue we're discussing is a purely sociological one as, in some cultures, sex with children is perfectly acceptable. It's a sign of the times that Paul uses homosexuality as an example of something that is "not wrong" when, just a few decades ago (and again, in some cultures to this day), it was right up there with child molestation as being completely unacceptable! I'd just like to add that this isn't me saying that I think being gay is "wrong," because I don't think that. To each, their own, and all that. Maybe the day will come when what we frown on today is seen as completely normal and acceptable. Who knows? As Jay has said, I think there's a big difference between attraction to a minor and the subsequent acting upon that attraction. I have my own opinions and experiences regarding these things, but I'll keep those to myself for the time being.
  4. I'll update this thread for Andy, I think. A good few years ago, I did various parts for him. As he's decided to revamp his interior using Alcantara, those parts simply didn't fit in with the new scheme at all. So they headed my way once again... Now it's all Alcantara and perforated leather, complemented by some dark grey stitching! Lurvely! :thumbup1:
  5. Watching you is like watching Keanu in The Matrix... dodging all those bullets...!!
  6. It's certainly big money for an obviously modified example. Those rear lights ruin it for me and, if I'm honest, the 99 Spec front doesn't suit having the headlamp washers fitted in the slightest. It does look to be a beautiful example however. Maybe it's because we on here have (in our opinions) a better idea than most as to what makes a sought after Zed... a return to the original bumper and rear clusters would help the sale no end, I reckon.
  7. Replacing the foam on your seats is dead easy, Jay. :thumbup1:
  8. I'll have to disagree with you on that one, Mr P...
  9. That plan's on hold for the time until I know how the whole "having premises" situation is going to work out :pinch:
  10. Until you log in, the VAT isn't included in the displayed prices.
  11. They turn out good enough that FunkySi (yes, that fussy little man!) and Richard Smith both have them in their cars and are both incredibly happy with them! :)
  12. Quite a few now. Still waiting on the exchange for the last one to be returned to me, actually....
  13. People need to stop lusting after my wheels.... Mine are 8.5 x 19 front and 10 x 19 rear, ET35 all round. The rears are a perfect fit out of the box, whereas I have 20mm spacers on the front for a flush fitment (and to clear my old brakes). :)
  14. America only, I believe. WinFactory CSL, yes? I considered this one briefly a couple of years ago but I wasn't keen on losing the black panel above the lights, not to mention the horrendous cost of shipping one to the UK!
  15. I believe we spoke about this a while back, right? :)
  16. Today, I actually drove her! Roof off and everything! There was a "retro car" meet locally so me and a couple of friends thought we'd have a look over this afternoon. Interesting convoy... a Ferrari 355 Spider, my Zed and an immaculate Mk2 XR2. We didn't stay all that long as it was really rather chilly, but it was nice to get out in her again and she got some really nice comments whilst she was there so :thumbup1:
  17. They come the right colour, mate - I put brand new ones on mine.
  18. I know this. I ended up buying three of them from Luke last year.
  19. Is it, by any chance, the two "clips" that are visible towards the front of the lower bumper opening (if you're looking diagonally down into that opening)? If so, then mine still has it fitted too. I know my old black one didn't because the bumper mouth had a significant "dip" in the centre of it.
  20. What do they look like in situ...?
  21. Are you going to get it painted in the factory Pearl Magnolia then...?
  22. Well and truly seconded! :thumbup1:
  23. I doubt I'll be able to confirm until much nearer the time - it's all going to depend on workload and, more importantly now, available pennies!
