Rich
  3. Lee. I just checked with the missus as she handles all the paypal stuff and she definitely says I have 100% made payment of £10 via paypal for another 12 months as she saw it on the account today when she was checking for some incoming payments one of our customers had made and imy payment said 300ZX or something very much like that against it. Anywey I'm away all day tomorrow until early evening (gotta go up to Durham) but she will get the transaction ID and I will post it here tomorrow for you cheers mate Rich
  4. Also, and this has just occured to me - how come I could receive PMs today but not reply to them? If I try to send a PM to a non subscribed member I can not do that.... so that would kinda suggest I am still subscribed in a half hearted way?
  5. Well that's me fooked then as I am always away in the sun first two weekends of september..... ahh well
  6. Hi Lee I wouldn't even know where to find the ID unless I am supposed to get an auto-email or something? Having said that I think it would show up on my paypal account so will have a look Basically I just clicked on the link from the email I received as follows Dear dicky96, Your access to the paid subscription "300zx.co.uk MemberShip Renewal" is about to expire. If you wish to continue your subscription please visit http://beta.300zx.co.uk/forums/payments.php Alternatively payment can be made via a bank transfer, please see the "Club Membership and Enquiries" section on the forum for details. All the best, 300zx.co.uk Club Bulletin Board and made payment, but if you say you haven't received it then I will see if I can figure out why that is or just do it again, it would still be good value for money TBH Rich
  7. Is this something to do with me showing as a 'professional newbie' in forum postbits? Rich
  8. I resubscribed 22th Oct and paid My membership shows active 300zx.co.uk MemberShip Renewal Start Date 24th October 2012 Expiry Date 24th October 2014 But something must have gone wrong as I received a PM today from a member offering me some parts but can't reply to it  So what's up? Rich
  9. I use 3W Yellow LEDs for my indicators (two each side) and they are really bright even in full daylight Also you could use 10W LEds but you need to build a 'constant current source' circuit to drive them (not so difficult, just a handful of cheap components) Rougly speaking high power LEds give the equivalent of 10x the power of normal bulbs - so 3W = 30W, 10W = 100W etc Bear in mind LEDs are a 'pinpoint' light source - so for something like a 10W LED i would suggest mount it 'backwards' shining into a reflector Give me a shout and I will help as much as I can, as a prototype I'd be happy to build some into indicator housings if you send them to me Rich
  10. Nowt unusual here in Stoke either and Sky only making a huge fuss about it because it was worse in the south east, which is obviously most of the country. If it had hit the north they would have spent 5 mins on it
  11. Completely still, calm and dry in Stoke.. I'm totally underwhelmed so I'm going to bed
  12. breezy but dry in Stoke.... which is better than usual lol Personally I think it's all hype and nothing will happen, just not much else happening in the news so they make a fuss about nothing Rich
  13. I also have the same ones as these - but I find the dials a little 'busy' and it's hard to see where the speedo pointer is at a glance so I may well change them for something else TBH
  14. OK so you like it or you don't...... actually as an 'eye catching' occasional use / show car I would say it pretty much does what it says on the tin Rather than personal tastes what I meant is, has anyone seen this car as the guy is a member on here, or knows what condition it is really in - the guy says on 'closer inspection' it could do with a little tidying up. He also told me it passed the last MOT with no advisories.. Just London is a long way to pop and have a look.... is anyone close to NW11 and got a couple hours on their hands? Rich
  15. Does anyone know of this car - the guy says he is a member on here but not particularly active. Friend of mine very interested in it but it is too far to go just to look at it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300zx-FULLY-CUSTOMISED-500bhp-AWESOME-power-UNIQUE-car-kit-car-/231077836989?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item35cd4ff8bd
  16. Haha nice try but not as good as my brake repeater On the subject of legality - surely my repeater is legal? In fact actually you don't even need to have a brake repeater for an MOT so what could it possibly fail on.... Rich
  17. Guys Guys Don't you think EL panel is getting a bit old hat now, these days..... How about LED Sheet? http://ledsignlighting.co.uk/led-sheet.htm
  18. which you now fixed so my post looks silly lol one can go off people you know :tt2::tt2:
  19. Well in that case there is something underhand going on because the winnihng bid is £2406 if you look at hte completed listing
  20. Oh it's smart too... if you just tap the brakes only the centre '0' in the 300ZX lights up, after about 1/3 of a second you get '00Z'. You have to hold the brakes on for about a 2/3 of a second to get the full sequence to illuminate If you let off the brakes before that the centre panel immediately goes off with the brakelights no matter where it was in the sequence :sorcerer:
  21. It can be turned off with a flick of a switch so the indicators flash normally (but the brake repeater still works, you can disable that independantly) Also when the ignition is off and there is no power to the controller, the hazards still work in normal flash mode Rich
  22. Well I was trying to get this finished to show off on the Blackpool run, but those who saw it on the night know it was not quite working properly Anyway now it stopped raining I've fixed the little problems and now it works as intended It's my own design and uses an Arduino Microcontroller to handle the necessary functions, I wrote the control program in the 'C' programming language What do you think? Rich http://
  23. OMG I'm an REO And that's a lot of initials!!! lol Seriously though I'm looking really forward to working alongside Iangreenfield as NW event organisers - we hope to make this region one of the best to own a Zed! Cheers Rich
