End of the "Pit Girls"
That's like saying why does the blue planet episode about whales in the sea not talk about the birds floating above them. Sure they're connected, but it's not what the shows about Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

If even the rather agricultural NASCAR series can have cup holders that hold on to their charge for 500 miles of pure cornering, I'm sure it can't be that hard :-P Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

No, you buy a car like that for MORE practicality than a zed. But a sportscar still needs some level of practicality, obviously. If you don't draw the line at an ashtray or glovebox, there is no good reason to not draw the line at a cup holder. What exactly is the major disadvantage? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Err why would a stock cup holder be in the way of the gearstick? They can put it wherever they want Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

So it would be in the way of the gearstick? How is a cup holder any different to a boot, or an ashtray, or a side door pocket, or a glove box, or centre console storage? If a sports car doesn't have to to somewhat practical, it wouldn't bother with most of those either. It's not a track car, it should be designed for everyday practicality Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

Nope, it's dreadful. I have a drink in my 9-5 quite often, not a chance in the zed. I'm not saying I want some cheap add-on, but not having a proper hide away drinks holder is quite inconvenient. If I'm thirsty on a motorway I want to grab a drink and carry on, not sit there having to look at some Harry Ramsden's getting brain freeze whilst I try and down it as quickly as possible Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

I must admit I thought they should do 50/50 men and women as well and have a stricter dress code, but I'll take the ban over no action at all. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

The real scandal is that that many men thought it was acceptable. If that's not, in part at least, a legacy of how women have been treated and presented throughout the men's lifetimes then where else did it come from? Here's alternative question: say F1 had instead announced that they wanted to attract a larger female audience, and was going to achieve that by having muscular men in hotpants parade up and down the pitlane, be the focus of camera shots from the pitlane, form a corridor and applaud the drivers heading onto the podium, and then stand around to get sprayed with champagne afterwards, what do you honestly think the reaction would be? "Why should we have to look at that?" "Bloody leftist extremists" "I feel uncomfortable looking at them" "I wouldn't mind as much if they were dressed appropriately" "How is this going to attract women to F1" Even possibly "How is this appropriate for children?" Etc etc Based on the comments so far, I would drive my own zed into a wall if there was a single positive comment about it. So why should women watching F1 have to put up with the reverse? Because they are historically subservient to men... And there was me thinking I wouldn't rise to the bait. But someone had to say something. Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

The idea that people who don't think, nor want to watch, women being objectified are "leftist extremists" is really quite laughable. F1Fanatic did a vote a while back and I think more people wanted them scrapped than kept so it's not a minority anyway. So that president's club thing is fine because the women got paid? Trust a male dominated car forum to come up with such a consensus... Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk

I like twinz diffusers! If you've got a decent budget then import one. They really don't rust in Japan, when my 95 arrived in 2016 the underside looked like it had been on the road for only a few months! Jimmers point about manual swaps is good, but if you've got a really good budget you can still buy gearboxes new. But then if you've got that budget might as well buy a factory manual. Be warned though, I don't want to upset anyone but IMO the autos are 'orrible

Fluid may have boiled if the brake was dragging I suppose, that or fluid loss. Did you pump the pedal? Would have drawn more fluid in

Advice on Auto-Manual Gearbox conversion
For a contrasting view, I ran an xtd pressure plate on a TT clutch with a broken servo for a while and the clutch was crazily heavy. I'm no body builder but I'm not a pampered wuss either, and in light traffic my leg started to ache! My girlfriend could hardly push it. Refurbed servo from jimmer is one of the best things I've bought for my zed! I don't know if that approximates an NA clutch or not and it will depend on the pressure plate but just my two cents.

property conveyancing
Ours was about 3 months offer to keys I think, can't remember exactly, with my partner selling her flat to a cash buyer and no upward chain from us so basically no chain at all. There were a lot of queries that took some time to come through, flood risk report, valuations, electrical certificates, building control sign off etc. The flat was much worse though, lots of checking leases and whether she was up to date with ground rent payments. Still, it's all stuff that makes sense when it comes down to it. We'd have been pretty peeved to find the rewiring hadn't been signed off and required another £5k to redo for example.

This is obviously a test for your benefit, I of course know the answer. Obviously. I mean what sort if idiot wouldn't. Not me certainly. Is this a brake pedal, or an NA clutch pedal? Sent from my SM-N950F using Tapatalk
