  1. So decided I would do a boost leak check today. The tools I was using are below: 1 vac/boost leak plug 1 piece of blue tubing as I have loads sitting about in the shed and its great for hearing small leaks. 1 halfrauds tyre pressure inflator thingy Sadly, I didn't seem to be able to get any pressure in the system, nor was I able to find any leaks. Thought maybe the tyre blower upper may just not be giving enough air. So, I decided to get the smoke matches out of the boot and try again. At first, I can't see it coming out from anywhere, but then sure enough, it showed itself. Sadly it's coming from down near the drivers side turbo and I can't actually see where it's coming from due to the huge manifolds so I'm gonna have to get it up in the air at some point. On a plus point, I went round and tightened everything as a matter of course anyway. Ay guesses what it might be? Turbos/manifolds/external wastegates?
  2. Welcome. Car looks nice mate
  3. Tiny in comparison lol
  4. Hope you had a good one fella
  5. I said to our lass, I just need to go to the shed. What for she asks. Oh just to see if I've got something to send to Russ. Her response was "Russ with the Legs?" Pmsl. Half calves. That was all. Just felt like sharing
  6. Ill send you 2 mate. Pm me your address and ill get them off tomorrow
  7. What else ya got since noz it so fast lol
  8. Let me know the cost mate. Did you want me to look and see if I have any resistors?
  9. On the inside of the front wings I believe... Wheel well lip
  10. I'm curious if the Bosch O2 sensors are any good. Sould be if they make th Oem ones
  11. I might have a resistor you can have if you'd like me to have a look.
  12. Have a good year everyone
  13. I think it's good to be different. Generally I like more zeds regardless of what's been done but it is nice to see some of the very nice 'close to stock' ones out there (I mean subtle mods like wheels and exhaust), so the likes of AndrewG, Funky Si and JoelyP's cars are beautiful. That being said, I also like the modified ones, love the look of Jaffa's race car, Jason Farrow's Beast, Zelda before she got fugly, the fridge etc etc. there's also some I don't like the looks of but can appreciate what work people have put in. Mine isn't as nice as a lot and its a bit of a sleeper but I love it and think it looks quite nice. I like some aspects of the yellow one. Just not the spoiler on this occasion
  14. What do you run Jaffa? I think noz has something like this but I'm not sure. I'd be interested in getting rid of the MAF just cos mine goes pants on wet days
  15. I have to say, for me, the buying of turbos etc is a hard thing to really understand. I don't think there is a daft question or one not worth asking and sometimes people talk in numbers about how good things are and half of it makes no sense to me. I think it could be false economy to buy cheaper products but then again I don't know. I think it'd be better to perhaps ask what stuff you should buy to reach whatever goal you have, then people will possibly suggest decent products. Like I like the Greddy TD05 16G turbos I have. I don't know a lot about the technical aspects of the turbo but its not too laggy, capable of decently big power (over 600bhp).
  16. Water isn't going down at all mate. I think its more likely the be the targa and window seals. When I'm driving I can hear air so think it needs the window pulling in slightly, probably the common runner thing
  17. I can't find any water in the car on carpets etc. That being said, I don't get much in the way of hot air.
  18. Did you paint those couple of bits outside?
  19. Thanks guys, the idle being massively out was the main issue. Turned out to be the hard idle switch. It's now idling where it should be :)
  20. After a bit of help really. So started the car today and took it for a spin. It's been sat for about 3 or 4 few weeks. The only thing I've done was put a new battery on it yesterday. Car drove okay, got. Back and noticed the idle seemed a bit high at around 1200 rpm. So got the computer on and the AAc was at 17% so decided to try and get it at 15%. This didnt seem to work. I then noticed the TPS was at .42v. So I've changed this to .44v so I know that's right. My problem is, now the AAC seems to have gone up to like 70% and doesn't want to change. The timing also seemed to be in the 30's and jumping around, checked it with a timing light and it looked high on that too. Any ideas as to what could be causing the AAC and the timing to be so ridiculous? I've not moved the CAS as it was sport on previously and it still sat in pretty much the right place so I think there's something else at play.
  21. Have many of you used these? And any videos showing the quality of the cameras etc?
  22. Sorry to see this mate. Hope you're better soon.
  23. Yeah but the andy forest car needs it. It's one of the fastest things I've seen
