I think he's wanting someone with a consult connector to try it on his car to check the consult port it working. Mind, I'm with noz on this one, I've not seen one that doesn't work (yet). But then again, Russ has huge calfs, they may have broken it while getting in and out of the car

FFS. Get over it will ya's. Noel, I don't think he was purposely having a dig in his comments. In short, to put this to bed... It's possible to get 550bhp on stock internals. If you're rebuilding, it makes sense to upgrade the bits. Also depends on what you use the car for. Can ya's just drop it?

Doesn't the consult adapter you bought the other week (the ones we were both messing with) work when plugged in to a laptop. Or didn't you get the serial to USB thing?

To be honest. I have no experience in building an engine and I'm not sure what noel or Chris have, but id prefer to upgrade the stuff if you're rebuilding. Its certainly in the past been the thing to do... Whether rightly or wrongly
