  1. Anyone recognise this? Found it while doing stuff on my car today
  2. At around half 3 I decided it'd be a good idea to go out in this Arctic whether to try and take my BOV'S off the car and go back to stock recircs. 2 hours later and I've only done one side (passenger). What a nightmare it's turning out to be. Probably wouldn't be too bad if I wasn't trying to do it on my driver in the freezing cold. I couldn't move a bolt on the other side and the head snapped off one of the camps so I gave up for a while on that one. Unsure if I could use the car now until it's finished as I'm guessing one BOV and one recirc would be a little weird. Anywa, got me wondering, what jobs that you thought would be easy was actually a pain in the butt?
  3. You, on the fence??? I've never known such a thing. The spoiler in isolation is ok, just not massively keen on it in these pics. Might be the front bumper putting me off
  4. I'm completely with Si on this one. Although I'm not most keen on the new spoiler either lol
  5. Sorry to see this tony. Really unfortunate mate. Glad your still here and that's the main thing.
  6. Awesome mate thank you. I'll PM you my address. On a side note, I managed to buy one of those right angle drill jobbies for a fiver today. Guess it'll always come in handy
  7. To test mine, tony and sir Charles theory, just unplug your MAF and see if the idle settles down
  8. Oh well, deal done lol
  9. Possibly a wet MAF
  10. What do you want for it mate?
  11. I was looking at them in machine mart. Out of interest, has anyone actually used aliexpress
  12. Update. I've got the new clamp on the MAF intake. Tightened all the fuel pipes. Loosened all the clamps holding all the silicone pipes that goes on to the turbo. This allowed me to push the whole lot on to the turbo outlet better and in turn, get the clamp on it properly. Took the car out and it was boosting to about 14 psi which is loads better. Still stalling though when I dump the clutch after boost. I'm thinking I should really do the recircs next.
  13. Can't see the attachment
  14. Yeah Gary, what's this private post about? Mods section or something?
  15. Hi there. Welcome to the forum. Have you checked anything specific yet
  16. Thanks for that. Does that side timing cover come straight off? I seem to recall that one of the sides is worth to get off than the other for some reason
  17. So the bolt just goes in to a bracket that a can remove?
  18. I just wish there was a little bit sticking out
  19. Was a Clarke one. Their tools any good?
  20. Bought some scree extractors while I was out. I have the problem of not having a small enough drill though and I don't really want to spent loads on a screw that makes on difference to anything
  21. Yeah ats what I was thinking. But I don't have a drill small enough for that area
  22. Any one else ever sheered the head off a CAS bolt? It's not affecting anything so I've left it for a short while and the other 2 bolts are holding the CAS in place no bother but I still want it out and then i can replace them all for new ones. So, it's sheered off where there's nothing to crab on to with grips. It's a little tight to get a drill in there too and I'm not keen on drilling down there anyway but im guessing ill have to. What do ya's think? Is there any other way of getting it out?
  23. Not so much bothered about the noise argument for a single exit system. However in looks wise, I think a single exit just looks wrong
  24. You should look bad at some of my awesome exhausts http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?180039-Waterless-coolant&p=1855414&viewfull=1#post1855414
  25. For a laugh at my expense as always, here are a few of my old exhausts: This ones still just sat in the garage This one is 'The Wheelborrow' Zaustec - this was hug and very similar to the joke on Gary posted above Veilside Evolution
