Yeeeesssss. Problem found
Got the new pipe today. So, since there's no time luke the present, I decided I'll get this dam air leak fixed. So cut it down with a stanley knife. Left it a bit bigger at both ends than the old one, put everything back together and hey presto. Drives nice. Managed to get up to 16 psi which is more than I've seen for ages. Will do another boost leak check now its all back together to see if it holds pressure again. Did a sound clip video to show how awesome she sounds but you can't really tell on a phone to be fair. Only problem was, when I got back, the aerial decided it was bust. Just sounds like the motor trying to pull it down but not working. Just unplugged it lol

manual cams and gearbox with upgraded auto tubs
So, do the cams make a difference if you have aftermarket turbos? And which are better, auto or manual cams

at what power level is to much for the road?
Phil in Manchester built the engine, what do you mean by fully built though? I'm not sure exactly which southbend clutch it is (would need to check) but got it from concept Z. I've had loads of clutches and I like this one though, very stock feeling. In the past I've had (and probably still have in the garage), a Z1 clutch which didn't last too long, an RPS Street max which is a nice stock feeling clutch, and a few puck clutches but I hate the whole on/off thing, made the car crap to drive for me.

My boost controller wasn't working correctly so I can't really answer that - Plus I've been driving round with a large air leak, so not exactly been boosting right. Would need to confirm these kind of things once it's remapped (god knows when that'll be). - - - Updated - - - To be honest, for me, it's just good to have a fully working car, and that's the best thing

I don't really know much of the technical data behind stuff but they come in around 3500 revs or there abouts. I wouldn't know how they compare to others either mate - Sorry. As for there top end, I believe one of Bobgenies results are with a very similar set up

I don't have the spec list to hand to as a general 'what I have' thing: Wiseco Pistons Eagle Rods Greddy TD05 16G turbos Pentroof style tubular manifolds External Wastegates and Screamer pipes 740cc Nismo Injectors Splitfire Coilpacks Veilside Evolution exhaust PACE side mount intercoolers Koyo Radiator Southbend Clutch RPS Segmented flywheel AMS Underwrive Pulley Apexi Air Filter And I can't remember the rest off the top of my head.

I'll see what it makes the next time I get on the dyno as the last time, the timing wasn't right (drifting) and the boost controller wasn't working so Noel couldn't turn up the boost. But - Based on the figures it made, I'd be in 3rd place I believe, only just though.

at what power level is to much for the road?
I think so yes. For example, ID sit high on the leader board if I decided to put my results up but I dare say there's a huge difference in my car to both bob genie and Jaffa, both of those cars are miles ahead of the pack over here in the UK. The only other I can think of that would have been next to them would be MAC1's car but we never ever saw any dyno results but having been in that car a couple of times, dam it was powerful.

I recon 450 to 500 at the wheels is more realistic without trying to spend big money

I can't see chunk posting that tbh. The red one is Mac1's car. He's our club chairman but I'm not sure if he ever comes on here anymore. The white one is StellaZ's old car. I think there's a thread on here where he was doing the work to put the body kit on.- dump valve and boost solenoid plumbing
Might be worth sticking up a picture maybe- Genuine Consult on e-bay now.
I have dibs on this- Yeeeesssss. Problem found
I'm thinking a junior hacksaw might cut straighter that all. Anyone know if a leak like this could mean the boost controller would seem like it wasn't working? Cos you'd not be able to get the boost up enough- Yeeeesssss. Problem found
New pipe ordered today. What's the best way to cut these? Junior hacksaw?- Go on then, who just outbid me on ebay
I love the pentroof style tubular ones but the bolting up of the turbo outlet pipes is impossible.- Go on then, who just outbid me on ebay
They look similar to the original Greddy ones- Loose hose , help !
Any pictures of the balance bar?- Hello!
Welcome to the club mate. First rule is... Get some pictures up lol. You can get a fibreglass replica spoiler from carmad on here in the traders section - have a read throught this thread i just found its a bit old but funny about a 300zx
