  1. So that hasnt happened as its the end of the eek. Nothing in my Email in box except a reminder to buy tickets as Japfest is next weekend. Ironic. Looks like chaos and lack of organization at Kelsey Publishing. (Event organizers) No criticism at all of Adam/370Ad. He has just posted what he was told.
  2. Most winters my slicktop sits outside neglected for months on end. This winter has finally wrecked a lot of the paint so I decided to freshen up the back half in preparation for Japfest.
  3. I dont think they are. Some sellers do try and point that out..................... They just talk garbage tho ... the two lug light they sell has the slots facing each other. ie at 180deg The three lug bulb holder has the three slots at 120degree so they will never line up if you cut one off:thumbdown:
  4. Agreed entirely. If its as rust free as it is claimed and the mileage is correct it is well worth a look. Sadly that is a downside of living in the Kingdom of Fife:biggrin:
  5. ????? What factory upgrade would that be?? They look like stock headlamps to me
  6. If you offfered to ship it here to the UK for free as well as giving me the car for free I would turn it down........................... It was an abject failure from day 1. In its short production run 97 and then 99 to 2002 they only sold 11700 of them... that alone tells you all you need to know about this vehicle I would rather have your (lightly damaged??) 280Z
  7. They arent the originals....so not 33K
  8. Yep it is...... but I dont use the gas struts.
  9. There are deffo no threaded holes.....
  10. What have you ordered?? Is it this????..........................http://www.ultraracingshop.com/ultra-racing-nissan-300zx-30-1989-rear-upper-strut-brace-ru21767_p23054621.htm
  11. Slicktop NA manual.................................
  12. Breaking a car is a big undertaking and involves huge numbers of hours....taking it apart especially without a nice well fitted warm garage to use... Advertizing parts...dealing with the time wasters and the hagglers of which the world is full of......finding/buying packaging... getting items packaged.....arranging courier quotes.... getting them to a parcel shop or waiting at home for a pickup. Only you know if you have the time and enthusiasm for that. In your situation I would sell it off as one item. keep the tools etc Spend time with your 14 year old cos there might come a day in the not too distant future when he doesnt want to spend time with you. Family First Business second(for the self employed) Big boys toys are an optional extra in life that you can return to in more favourable circumstances. All IMHO of course.
  13. Its your 60ft time we need to see what you have been doing!! Not the 1/8mile. Terminal speed is directly related to power not technique. 103mph is about right for a mildly tuned but heavy Z32 Compare it to Noz's quick TT at 113 and my NA of 94.
  14. Of course its up to every owner and driver to make their own decisions but if you look at the risks involved they are pretty low. Santa Pod is a wide as a 4 lane motorway. It is perfectly smooth/flat with one of the best maintained surfaces in Britain. You never get to drive on it if its wet. There are no bends There are only ever two cars on it at a time. Both are going in the same direction. You only drive hard for 1/4 mile then coast to a virtual halt before turning off. Is probably one of the safest places in Britain to drive on.
  15. Just ask them to email you a copy of their invoice. Then you can see what is being charged. No point in speculating "why" untill you see the paperwork. They will have charged a "handling/processing" fee. All the shippers do.
  16. In order for any one to make helpful and meaninful suggestions we need to see the results of the "Emissions test" Chrisbasildon has already asked about this.... as has Dougal 200 It is remarkably common for inexperienced MOT testers to get this wrong Once we can establish how its been tested we can then move on to finding a resolution to the failure.
  17. Thats just silly Joel............................:whistling: You need to fit some LEDs
  18. Hmmm! I like that as much as I like your seats. Great brand.:thumbup1: Classic simple design.:thumbup1: No glittery shiny bits stuck on it like others in their range:thumbup1:
  19. Yes they will.:thumbup1: A high quality name in the seat world.:thumbup1: A simple and classic looking design:thumbup1: And in black.:thumbup1: IMHO that is all you need. No fancy coloured stitching. No two tone colour schemes etc etc Black is best.
  20. They probably arnt... They probably have better things to do than try and ship one single low profit margin Nisssan wing half way round the world without it getting damaged.
  21. Six used injecter connectors for later type injectors Small piece of plastic missing on one. It does not affect the clip on action. See pic for overall condition. Good IMO. £10 posted no offers Paypal only.
  22. Non database pre Aug 95 cars still have to pass a Basic Emissions Test.
  23. Dont break that top seal or damage the corners. Here are the US dollar prices. Nissan in the UK will be expensive also.. 90352-32P00 REVEAL MOLDING UPPER, 4 SEATER $207.68 2 90366-30P00 REVEAL MOLDING, RIGHT CORNER $20.71 2 90367-30P00 REVEAL MOLDING, LEFT CORNER $20.71 3 90372-32P00 REVEAL MOLDING LOWER, 4 SEATER $108.55
  24. Oh I feel a BIG can of worms have just been opened:biggrin:
