The biggest problem with DIY blasting is having a powerful enough compressor. a 200L tank and around 20 to 25 cfm is where you need to be in my experience.

The stock adjuster set up should give enough adjustment on a stock car. Ultimately you will only find out when its on the ramp being measured. I would check before you go that the adjusters are not not seized/broken/damaged.

Im a Zclub member. There is no mention on Z club forum about Japfest 2/Rock. I might go but Im not bothered about displaying on a club stand. Im not in a position to commit atm. If I book track time then there will be a track day paddock to use.:yes: I deffo dont do camping...ever.:whistling:

First thing to say is a big thank you from all the 300Zx.co.uk members to 370Ad/Adam for his part in organizing this brilliant event for us. As a fairly small club ourselves we benefit greatly from this association with other Z related clubs.:yes: The location of our pitch was briliant.:thumbup1: Sadly for Adam it wasnt the best of weekends as he couldnt bring his own 370Z as he had discovered a cracked wheel on the day before. So on the first Z car session on track (session B) he was a passenger in his friend's black 350Z. That had a spin in to the wall on the pit straight and badly damaged the car. Fortunately they were both un injured. For my part i enjoyed the event completely. Of all the UK venues Silversone is my personal favourite. My car ran without fault all day and I gained a new level of confidence and (I think) competence round the National circuit. Big thanks to Ian for the action pics of me on track:thumbup: 300ZX.co.uk had a good range of cars on display including 4 slicktops, three of which were on track. As always there is never enough time to chat to everyone you see or meet.

You are wrong!!!!! All LWB models came with a fully inflated space saver . The SWB came with a folded blow up space saver. Some were mounted on a solid steel rim others on the patterned alloy as per the BanZai advert.

They have probably outsourced the ticketing to someone who is not up to it. Im sure the event will be "all right on the night" There are over 100 cars on the Z stand from 240Zs to 370Zs and we have got a great location in the old F1 paddock area right behind the old pits complex.

The Japfest Organizers are using the campsite I listed ...not Woodlands. Campsite Address: Whittlebury Park Golf and Country Club, Towcester, East Midlands, England, NN12 8XW Car access is off the A 413 through Whittlebury village. To get a car from the campsite to Silverstone circuit is about a 4 mile drive.. according to Google maps.
