Hello All,

Some of you may be shocked at the title because yes Japfest has changed its venue from the Old faithful (Castle Combe) to the new shiny Silverstone.

Quite a few things have changed this year with the booking process, so please read the below instructions carefully. What will be staying the same is that we have a combined stand with the 350Z/370Z club and Z Club, so it should be a good turn out for the Z's.

New Self Service Booking System

Japfest have changed the way club bookings work this year, meaning that individual club members can book their own tickets and vehicle passes for the clubs stand. Please follow the following instructions for a successful transaction:

  • Club members must go to http://japfest.co.uk/club-info to book their tickets
  • Select your Club (Z Club) from the menu and enter the Club's Personal Password - 215.408
  • Proceed to select required tickets and place order - Make sure you choose 'Club Vehicle pass' to get on the club stand.
  • Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email as proof of payment

Club space will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The deadline to book club tickets is Friday 18th March, subject to space availability.

If you have any difficulties, our club support helpline is available on 01959 543 724 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please call this number and do not PM me as I have no access this year.

Club Ticket Prices for 2016 Per Person

  • Club Early Bird Package £48 - includes show entry at Japfest and show entry and pre-show camping at Japfest Rock! (previously Japfest 2) and Japfest Motorsport Heroes.
  • Club Weekend Camping Ticket £28 - includes show entry and pre-show camping.
  • Club Advanced Show Ticket £18 - includes show entry.
  • We're also offering Early Bird Tracktime exclusively to clubs on the famous Silverstone National Circuit at just £30 per 20 minute session, saving £5 when booked before 31st January

When updating the list please put your username, ticket type wanted and when you have purchased. This lets us know how many we have attending.

Can someone explain what 'pre-show' camping is? just an allocated space to put up a tent to camp?

The show starts on the 24th, a lot of people travel far and wide to get to the event and so rather than leaving at silly 'o' clock in the morning to join a hefty queue of traffic, the pre-show camping gives you the opportunity to arrive on the 23rd and camp onsite.

The club has two allocated sessions, Session B (Intermediate) - 09:20 - Briefing Time 08:20 and Session O (Advanced) - 13:40 - Briefing Time 12:40.

These may be shared with other clubs depending on numbers. Better than public track time though :)

Means there is now a big fat ZERO in the south west now.

We crossed that bridge last week, the North complained. I do agree though that to take a show that was southwest and Midlands on two separate events and make them them both in the Midlands. If anything they should of moved japfest 2 northerly.

I will attend and have track time, I won't however be paying till after Christmas. Only one day for me though.

Same with me, I'll pay up after Christmas... Just also want to make sure my car will be ready in time first. I won't be taking it on the track though:no:

They're all up that way now. The only thing we have left is Simply Japanese - which is actually better IMO. :)

I fought pretty hard last year to get mine ready, even mot'd it on the day before. Failed at the last hurdle. I did have more stuff planned this winter but I might just leave it alone so it's not a mad rush again.

I concour however Japfest does offer a very reasonable way to make track.

Cool, I'm up for it. Will book stand pass and camping on 23rd. My first car show, really looking forward to meeting you all. :-) I guess I just turn up on the Saturday, park up Purple Haze with all the other zed 32's and find a place to pitch me tent, find the beer tent and chill out, correct? Is there anything happening on the evening of the 23rd?

Not entirely sure as its the first year Silverstone are doing it but I imagine so :)

Those wanting track time please book ASAP to avoid disappointment, as I have zero control over the numbers this year.

Pete's doing his track time over at B & Q!

LOl!!!

At the first Nissan Parts day they held the passenger rides were actually round the site . We had to stop when a lorry came to deliver.:whistling:

I have committed to Japfest and posted up my track slots to encourage others to come and have a go.

In a club supposedly full of high powered cars Im always shocked to see how few people actually get out to drive them at speed..

Silverstone is one of the easist and safest tracks to have a go on even if you are a complete novice.

Its where I first went three years ago at Trax when Groover came out as a passenger. That was my first ever track session

So lets see a few more cars out on track.

The joint clubs have two track sessions as Adam has indicated. Other slots at all levels from novice to Advanced are available at the moment. They can be booked direct thru the Japfest website.
