  1. Haha. Sometimes you gotta be a bit direct. I'm in Poole.
  2. Without being rude, I sounds like you don't know what you've got. So I suggest waiting till you actually have them, then you can measure up and identify properly. The stock 350z Brembos use a 320 odd mm disc, that tallies with that 325mm figure you suggested. These discs fit directly to the 300zx. The calipers use a slightly larger mounting bolt, m14 rings a bell in my mind, to mount the caliper to the hub. You need to run a drill through the mounting hole to accommodate the larger bolt. Other than that a straight fit. If they are the 345mm discs things are a bit more complex, I've not heard anyone use 350z calipers on 345mm discs though. As I say, get them to you first and then we can work out what you've got.
  3. Generally people use the stock size disc from the 350z a 320mm disc for those Dave. No mods required aside from enlarging the mount. The 345mm discs are generally using Brembos from an EVO, which do require a bracket.
  4. Indeed, although he has been quiet of late. My money is on a bit of skirt.
  5. Good stuff, although I may have been a good idea to use the clutch and fly assembly off the car to test fit. Clutch pedals in I take it? I dug this out for you too. Reverse light wiring; Obviously you can neaten that up but it just shows the way it's done.
  6. Weldone kiddo. Have you modified your gear box yet?
  7. I can hardly comment tbf.
  8. The color would suggest your American:lol: the colour chart you've given would suggest that everyone had great qualities, in my experience that's not the case so I feel there may be some problems there.
  9. Talk to Jimmer at Powerzed in Bristol, he will sort out a health check for you and make sure it's right before you progress. He will also be able to point you towards who he sends his customers to, to tune the engines he builds.
  10. Ignore them, it's incredibly popular ATM. You can go with whatever you like. The greys look great, we get loads of complements on the colour, that car gets more attention than the zed TBH. This in my opinion looks awesome.
  11. Greys are cool. Her Skoda is grey, the same grey as a lot of the RS Audis are in.
  12. Same as mine I believe. Mine are branded Japspeed but I think they are all the same manufacturer.
  13. I think you earned the right to brag a bit mate.
  14. Jesus! We will have to change your name to ToughNut. Didn't realise you'd been through that recently mate and am genuinely pleased your ok.
  15. There has already been an attempt.
  16. Yeah. All the way from the hard line and retainer on the body to the caliper.
  17. My Evo brembos use stock fitment lines. A banjo style fitting. I brought a full set of braided lines from Driftworks.
  18. You my friend will die the day your hands give up.
  19. So say it was obviously going to happen is dismissive but it was always likely. Hopefully it's positive news for Britain.
  20. There were a few dirty looks.
  21. This maybe of help? http://stores.ebay.co.uk/conceptua-tuning/Z32-300ZX-Fairlady-/_i.html?_nkw=Hicas&submit=Search&_fsub=2566119012&_sid=216314002 Alternatively... http://www.driftworks.com/driftworks-total-hicas-eliminator-kit-for-nissan.html
  22. I think your right there. From memory there's a small offset difference, few mm. I seem to remember someone using a pair of washers to adjust the offset on the calipers to use 350 dis s which are cheaper on the skyline calipers.
  23. Welcome and you that. We mostly cater for the later 300zx model the Z32 89-99 here. So the experience may not be as heavy as other places. ZClub.net and http://www.300zxclub.com are probably better technical sources for you. However this club is UK based and active so it would be great to see your Z31.
  24. Depends on what you want or enjoy to an extent. A Z32 will never be a compentant as an R35, when I say competent I mean over all. Sure you could be faster, both on the straight or through the corners, but by that point your Z32 will have suffered many compromises whilst the GTR is still sat there with all it's luxury. That said it's nearly 1,75 tonnes of car stuffed with air bags and electronic wizardry, if your so inclined a Caterham 7 would be more fun. Hell we all know how fun a 60s mini with 100hp 2" off the floor is. The R35 is a stonker of a machine, it's what the Z32 was in its day and then some. The question of does it have more driving pleasure depends on the individual. I know a chap who has a 2.8i Capri and a DB9, guess which he prefers to drive the weirdo.
  25. From what I've read. VG30DETT Engines with the serial lower than 619550 may have soft valves. Other than that to prove 100% its head off, the desirable valves have EG stamped on them.
