  1. Proper result. Bet your glad you found out about that facility.
  2. I thought the passenger side location was an NA and LHD thing Jeff rather than Early late. The port is there on in both positions for RH and LHD cars it's just that for TTs with the turbo and steering column in the way the LHD version doesn't fit and vice versa?
  3. Depends how far your going to go and what you buy. Swapping your door cars and seats in is a weekend job with a few cups of tea and detours. For a first timer to pull an engine and box will take a weekend, then obviously if the donor has an engine in it that's gotta come out too so double, then refit. You can't really just say swapping to a new shell will be easy or hell because you don't know what you've got yet. Seems to me your already missing a trick, "I have two zeds already" no you currently have one and three quarters. Be bold and make one good car out of two.
  4. Good stuff, sounds like the fuel was your limiting factor because there's more head room in your current spec.
  5. Time for bigger injectors.
  6. You noticed a sound difference with the dual MAF?
  7. Obviously but it takes like 2-3hrs to get on the fricken plane. Took me 17 hrs to drive to London, fly to Edinburgh do two hours work then return journey home. I was in the air a total of 2 hours!
  8. Bristol to Brussels in 55minutes? Didn't realise that space shuttles were an option for that journey haha.
  9. beautiful example. I'm sure we could fairly easily make the 20b of cuts the NHS needs to make with some ruthless common sense.
  10. Personal plates in my personal opinion  mine came with one but it means nothing, to me at least. I think it was the original owners intials. Yadda yadda MF. Pretty lame and puts the car on an A plate, I've been tempted to sell it but it's not worth enough for the hassle. Just kinda seems like a way to blow money to me, doesn't do anything. Most are so tenuous or vauge you have to modify the spacing or know what it's supposed to say to even see it, which in the case of spacing is something lame to get pulled for. I'm sure some will disagree with me and that's fine but I'd have to personally be desperate to waste my hard earned for a goody plate. Save your money for go faster parts.
  11. That's just large corporations bud. Government funded ones are the best, I can think of one that tend to send a whole packs of 100 bolts when one bolt was required. Then lay off staff due to funding shortages whilst still recruiting for new ones. Don't worry though because the top knobs will still get there six figure salaries.
  12. Fingers crossed the filter keeps up, Ammonia is your current risk. Enough ammonia will kill anything. If you get though the next 48 hours ok I'd consider yourself home though tbf.
  13. As long as the filter media and substrate were kept wet and not cleaned with tap water or anything silly it's unlikely you will need to recycle. What you need to watch for is phosphates now, they accumulate in the substrate, distruption of a bed that's been sat will often unleash them. Easily solved though with a Ferric or Aluminium Oxide based binder, available in all fish shops.
  14. I had a line split on mine, prffft 8 years ago. It was on the first floor at this time, I lost about 100L of water, sal****er. If you don't know salt water doesn't dry like fresh, the salt residue collects damp and it's a nightmare to dry out. Some of it came through the ceiling and made a big mess, the rest vanished. Must of gone down the cavity or something. Anyway I realised at this point it had damaged the stand too. Sweaty stuff, I was worried about the tank ending up downstairs the fast way at that point. We've moved house now and it took 16 hours to move the Reef between the two houses but it now has its own room with a convreate floor and a stand made of 40mm box section, string as an Ox.
  15. With 500L of salt water spinning around this is my nightmare lol.
  16. That's really improved buddy.
  17. I think if you buy the twinZ full bumper it has those diamensions but the diffuser is moulded on.
  18. It's a shame that you can't buy a 2+2 rear bumper in the 2+0 diamensions. The twinZ one does this but you end up with the diffuser which I'm going off ATM.
  19. How will renting a unit make your more money? You can only do so much work so fast without employing staff.
  20. Looks so much more clean and mature, your going to have a top quality car at the end of this.
  21. How fast do you want to go? You can always go faster if you pay. Say you buy the Evo and aren't much faster? What you need is practice and to enjoy yourself.
  22. It's such a shame you can't just switch the Diff itself allowing you to try easily or chop and change depending on what's going on.
